the staff were very friendly and the hotel is very baby friendly. the pool is very clean and the breakfast is great.
the overall feeling of the villa is not super clean.
AKA resort and spa is overall a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The spa treatment is also great but they need to hire more staff for the spa because it was very hard to book since they only have 2 staff for the spa. The breakfast is great, has a lot of things to choose from. Most important, the pool in the villa is very clean, great for kids to play.
However, the villa itself is not super clean.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Even though the hotel is in the middle of the mountain, it's very easy and fast to get to the city.

lovely private pool, very friendly staff, great landscape, complimentary yoga very pleasant all in all lovely place!
music needs updating, villas need a bit of attention
6 kms from town which means eating at the hotel which can be expensive. music in the hotel areas never changes which makes being in the bar or restaurant a little less pleasurable after a while. Could also do with some maintenance here and there in the villas. These are small points though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were lovely and the general place very relaxing and soothing before we embarked on our journey back to bangkok..recommended!
Restaurant Tip : retrophilia nice bar on main market strip

Your very own 10m infinity-edged pool.
20 minutes car ride into Hua Hin town.
If you are looking for a nice, quiet holiday with an occasional trip to Hua Hin town, this is the right place to be. With your own pool, you can choose to swim/sun-bath all day without need to go any where. The rooftop day-bed is also a quiet place to laze to watch sunrise-sunsets. As it is situated on the hill right in the middle of nature, do be prepared for the occasional pond-skaters (skating in your pool), dragonflies (hovering near the hedges) and mosquitoes (just keep the electric mosquito repellant running all day). Going into town can be a little troublesome. There are limited seats available with the free transfers arranged by the resort (3 times a day) and you need to book early.
All in all, if you just wish to relax all day, AKA is the right place to go to.

High Quality Resort in Hua Hin, unfortunately
about 6 KM outside of Hua Hin, however the quite
surrounding it is worthwhile to travel to the
city, beautiful resort, with nice bungalows.
Quite far from the City, Breakfast "cheap" if you consider the price they are asking for.
Again, the AKA Resort is a little bit out of town,
but the area is so quite and you wont hear any noice form the town. You need a car, otherwise
you depend on the shuttle service from the hotel.
The rooms are very big, you have a private swimming pool and an outdoor bathroom, which is beautiful,
having a shower outside.
The personnel is very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast is too small and the price for the
breakfast is much to high. In Hua Hin you have
a lot of restaurants, direct at the beach, which
is to recommend at the evening and the prices
are low.
Restaurant Tip : At the waterfront are a great number of good fish
restaurants.

Away from the city, but still accessible.
Food service at dinner was very slow, but they gave complementary fruit. Also food service at AKA Guti for lunch was extremely slow.
We chose AKA because it was close to the mountain and away from the city. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The food was very nice, but service very slow for all meals. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom pool villa which had lots of space and was private. We watched a storm roll in from our "attic" lanai. We had a couples massage focusing on head, neck and shoulders, very relaxing. I'd like to see a little repairs made, painting mostly of exterior railings, which would make the experience more special.

In-room swimming pool and spa pavilion
Spider web all over outdoor jacuzzi, water smells weird.
AKA is well decorated and full of facilities. Staffs are friendly and willing to make your stay an enjoyable experience. However, the hotel doesn't be at its best condition when we arrive. Dust and spiderweb are all over in some area of the room. If you like the AKA concept.

Private pool, separate living room next to the pool, big area and quiet, lots of facilities provided in the room.
1. As the resort is quite big and hard to walk from lobby to the room, the resort provides the buggy car to pick up guests from room to lobby and vice versa. I found that the buggy car isn't enough. We have to wait quite a long time.
2. The road's surface from main road to the resort is very bad and dangerous. It's like we're travelling in the moon for real. This one I think I can't blame the resort though.
3. The towels provided in the room look quite old.
4. Area for car park is too small
I stayed at 2 Bedroom deluxe pool villa for 2 nights. The facilities in the room are good. I am happy with what I paid for. We were warned by a lot of people about thief in the hotel but fortunately we didn't find any. Staffs here are friendly.

The food, the organic farm, the villa, and the swimming pool.
Just a little disappointment when they forgot to send the bday cake to our villa at midnight.
It was a fantastic experience to stay in AKA resort, Hua Hin. They are kind enough to offer a bday cake for my bf bday, and to arrange a special candle light dinner in the garden for us. It was a beautiful place and it makes the whole experience relaxing, memorable and romantic. I would like to say a big thank you to the executive chef who cooks great Thai food and taught us how to cook Thai during cooking class.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Must visit or even stay in AKA Guti - another fantastic place.

privacy
very good service
swiming pool at night
nothing spacial to complain...
“I visited AKA with my husband for the third time this year and it is really a place I want recommend to all who are looking for romantic place. It is not too far from town and easy access to the night market or beach in Hua Hin.
Always, they recommended us to do activities but I was tired, so decide to go Spa, and my husband did Thai Boxing Lesson. It was great. After we went for dinner at AKA Café… Nice and romantic, the staff very friendly and even better at night too. Before very dark, now they have more lights and security than before and it is really great there. The pool at night is very good.
We like the nature and green space, lakes and farm at AKA.
Thank you again!! We will be back soon.”
Restaurant Tip : there is a wonderfull thai, european, sea food restaurant at the night bazar walking street named "rod fai"...
it s mostly the same menu as the other restaurant in the street but the staff and the design are much better... it s basically a copy of the famous "Hua-Hin train station"...it s fun go
for it!

Daily activities, Design, Clean
A little further away from city center.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful getaway. Maybe a bit quiet for those who are use to the hussle and bussle of city life. There is alot of privacy. Definately recommend anyone to sign up for the activities they have planned through out the day.

Private pool, quiet location, fantastic food, friendly and professional staff, beautiful rooms.
Expensive amenities, bed was very firm, the shuttle bus only goes 3 times a day into Hua Hin.
We stayed here for 13 nights. It was a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. There is the quiet sound of relaxing music playing around the site making you feel relaxed instantaneously. The staff were friendly, smiling, and more than willing to help. We were shown our room and fell in love with it. All the rooms are seperate villas with their own private pool so you don't feel like you are staying in a resort. We stayed in a one bedroom deluxe villa with a seperate spa room and veranda with daybed. We felt spoilt. We ate at the restaurant only twice as the food was alot more expensive than in Hua Hin itself but the food was beautiful and you definately get your money's worth in terms of quality and alot of it was organic. The location was out of town but that didn't tarnish the experience. Hua Hin itself is a busy town and the beach isn't wonderful but it has a certain charm. There is a free shuttle bus from the resort into Hua Hin so you get the best of both worlds. The spa at the resort looks lovely but we didn't try any of the treatments because they were so much more expensive than in town. Absolutely wonderful resort and would stay there again. By the end of the holiday we were so relaxed we were horizontal!
Shopping Tip : Hire a moped...great way of getting around and really cheap!

I like the private swimming the most! The welcoming ice cream and ginger drinks were nice as well. We can also borrow some DVDs to watch in our room.
It's very far and dangerous road. It would be inconvenience if you don't bring your car.
I liked the atmosphere of this hotel and I felt so relaxing. I stayed in the one bedroom deluxe pool villa which was very nice. I love the private pool also the bedroom and bathroom were lovely even it was not so clean in the tub. We borrowed some DVDs to watch from the lobby and it was free! The thing which I am not happy with was the hotel location which is very far from the beach and the road is very rough and dangerous.
Restaurant Tip : I would recommend you to go to the night market in town as the seafood restaurants there are very good! Not so expensive and very delicious.

Good Hideaway from our busy life with the private pool and good service.
The entrance sign a bit small,Morning breakfast during Weekend quite slow, due to no. of guests, would recommend to arrange as Buffets for all choice of selection.
AKA is a nice and cozy place which make me feel relaxing from day to day life.I love the pool and atmosphere. I will visit the place again.
