Very clean, staff are well trained and very efficient, peaceful surroundings, beautiful beach, good music selection from the ipod provided in the room. Wonderful spa.
Food is just average, could be better.
We had a wonderful weekend staying at Aleenta, all the staffs are very attentive and kind. The resort provided almost all the things you need (beach bag, beach slippers, books, pajamas, bathrobes, books, music, snack bar etc.) and all in great quality! The area is quite remote thus perfect for a relaxing holiday. The forest park is just a short bike ride from the resort if looking for some activity. It was a very pleasant experience and we'll definitely visit again! It is about 3 hrs drive from downtown Bangkok, perfect for a weekend getaway.

Jacuzzi might need more chlorine
If you like large, new, shiny resorts with many pools, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, loud music, and lots of people, you definitely should NOT stay at this hotel. This is a small, quiet, simple but sophisticated place. The rooms are not ultra-luxurious but they are tastefully decorated and comfortable. The resort itself is also small but the rooms still provide privacy. The neighbours are mostly private beach houses with a few other small resorts. There are a few restaurants and cafes along the quiet road that the hotel is on. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food at the hotel is good but not great. The prices are a little high for Thailand but not unreasonable. The hotel gives a some little extras to make your stay even more enjoyable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can walk down the beach and climb the cliff at the end. It's steep but there is a path with ropes and the view at the top is great.

Very Good Services.
Nice Beach.
Delicious Food!
A bit too remote.
Too many mosquitoes.
It has been a really memorable and nice journey to HUA HIN Aleenta Resort. I highly appreciated their services and food!! All staffs are friendly and helpful. It was really great to have private pool within some rooms. I DON’T WANNA GO BACK HOME after 3 nights staying there!
The journey from BKK airport to the resort takes like 3+ hours, it's really a bit long. Should there be more restaurants or shops around, it would be really a paradise for me!!!!
Travel tip : Install TV inside rooms.
Improve measures to mosquitoes problem.

western food too oily..
can clean better in parts
nice little resort located in a long beach facing east. Great sunrise view with no obstruction, highly recommended if you like sunrise. Many dogs around the beach, if you are not keen with dogs, then the place may not be good for you. Some dogs can even swim fast, so don't think you can get away with them by jumping into the water, they will find you!!!

Beautiful setting, pool rooms are fantastic
Few restaurants or other facilities nearby
If you are looking for a restful holiday in a beautiful setting the the Aleenta is ideal. Friendly, unobtrusive service and some nice touches like an Ipod dock in the room.
The restaurant menu isn't great and the bar area isn't particularly comfortable, but we had a great relaxing four days

Good for couples.
Comfortable bed.
Lovely beach.
Room service level.
Cleanliness.
Aleenta has a very nice and comfortable setting and a definite plus point is the in-room iPod music that has a good selection. Breakfast is served in room and there is nothing like having a good hearty meal overseeing the blue ocean and sandy beach. The staffs are friendly too. The Ocean view suite has a nice personal jacuzzi. Be prepared for mosquitoes while chatting outside. Use the repellent for a fee or prepare your own. The staffs' service was rather disappointing though. Had drinks with friends the night before and left some cans and a wine bottles by the side in the outdoor area but was not cleared by the staff. The items were left there for a whole day till I had to request them to clear specifically. Tables after breakfast were also not wiped clean when the staff cleared the sets. Not something I would expect of a resort at that level.
Restaurant Tip : A local restaurant directly opposite the resort serves very nice and authentic Thai food for a very reasonable price.

Morning eating, swimming and sun bathing.
Afternoon eating, swimming and sun bathing.
Evening eating, swimming and sun bathing.
There are many flower, leaves and small insect in the swimming pool
The best thing staying in this resort is noting to do. There are only 2/3 resort nearby, so there are not mamy people on the beach.
Morning eating, swimming and sun bathing.
Afternoon eating, swimming and sun bathing.
Evening eating, swimming and sun bathing.
This kind of living style is very suitable for busy Hong Kong people for relax in holiday
Restaurant Tip : The restaurant within the resort is very very expensive. There is a local restaurant nearby is more cheaper (3 times cheaper) and the food is good.

-right on the beach location, great rooms
-private and secluded
-great service from all staff
-dining choices are very limited
We really enjoyed our stay at Aleenta. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and the service was outstanding throughout our entire stay. The resort was very private with only a small number of guests, so we were able to relax by the pool and on the beach with no disturbance. There were no tv in our room but the hotel provided a wide selection of books for guests to read. The staff even insisted on me taking the unfinished book with me as something to remember them by. If you're looking for a quiet resort to just relax and do nothing, then Aleenta is definitely a great choice!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Aleenta is about 30 minutes away from Hua Hin, so a rental car/taxi is needed if you want to take a tour or go to Hua Hin for shopping and night market.

Extremely attentive staff, practically deserted beach, well appointed rooms.
My wife and I holiday in Thailand relatively frequently, and we both agree that Aleenta was our favorite stay yet. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic getaway, it's a great choice. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, to the point where they wait for you to step out for a few minutes in order to tidy up your room. The fact that we were there in the offseason may have contributed to a few things worth noting: First, the beach was practically deserted for as far as we could see. There were a few other guests at the resort, but we rarely ran into anyone. We did notice a little work being done around the resort, for instance we couldn't use the internet for a couple of days because they were working on the library, but I'm guessing that's the sort of thing that happens in the offseason. About the only thing I can think of that was inconvenient was that our plunge pool filter stopped working and the water turned brown which rendered it unusable for a couple of days, then we lost a little privacy as they fixed it, but it's not much to complain about. Another thing we noticed was that the water off the beach was a little murky, but that may also be because it was the rainy season. All in all, an outstanding time.
Restaurant Tip : The prices at the restaurant are pricey by Thai standards, but there are a few restaurants within easy walking distance with much more reasonable prices. However, the resort restaurant will cook anything you like regardless of it's on the menu!

quite and secluded, a truely romantic place, absolute attention to detail, friendly staff, everything about this place was absolutely perfect for a romantic get away, for five days this place pampered us in every way possible, from the daily fruit platter and savoury snacks, to the breakfast served in the room. many interesting daily activities, terriffic restaurant right across the road. will definately return.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : rent a scooter, lots of really good restaurants and beach bars along the coastline

staff are very warm welcome. you can have your breakfast in bed!!
this is a small, luxurious and romantic resort. I've got a very warm welcome at arriving. They serve welcome drink, jasmine flower and the cold towel. I've got a free 10-minute massage to help relaxing from a journey. The room are really clean and nice. They provide ipod deck with a good and romantic songs, also the chess board and books. The minibar are nice. one thing i like most is that you can have breakfast in bed. the food are good.

location, pool and quietude
construction and amenities
I was wow'd as we stepped into our suite on the Frangipani side of the hotel (they have a villa side and a hotel side) because the view was stupendous. You can wade into the pool directly from the living room and then the beach is yonder. The beach is however, not swimmable - it is filled with jellyfish and we got stung! This may be a seasonal problem only but do be aware. The room quality was so so. Quite rustic, the mosquito net for the bed is too small and uncomfortable for those sleeping inside. And there are mosquitoes. The staff is wonderful. When we got stung by jellyfish, they got us medicines and showed genuine concern and helped us alot. They are wonderful. The breakfasts as described elsewhere are sumptuous and worth $30 (for two) in itself. Come here for the location!! One of the more beautiful and still relatively isolated spots on this earth.
Travel tip : If you are not arriving by taxi or hotel transfer, the hotel is not easy to find. The map they offer online is totally inadequate and you have to call and request they fax you a local map and driving directions. Otherwise, equipped properly and if you have a car, the hotel is an easy drive to pranburi town for dinner or something.

Perfect for a peaceful break with not much action-it was perfect for my wife and I. The rest of our trip was full of action and we really wanted a peaceful experience, and we got it here.
Travel tip : There is a mini-mart about 200 meters down the road, and it is much better value to purchase drinks and snacks form there. And also take insect repellent.

A minor set back would be the kitchen closes at 10 pm and there isn't any 7-Eleven or store in the proximity. But the night staff was kind enough to go out and got us food the very first night we checked in.
Travel tip : We met the owner Ms. Huaplee (banana flower in Thai) at the Huaplee Lazy Beach Hotel two doors down and we found ourselves spending a lot of time there. She was also kind enough to show us her other property 30 minutes away, the Brassiere Cozy hotel and we intend to go back and spend this coming August there.
