Rooms are fantastic with recessed lighting and apple music and video connected to a large flat screen tv.
There are lots of stairs here, not handicapped accessible and maybe a problem for the elderly.
This is an impressive hotel. Great design, 2 pools, private beach, outstanding rooms. I really enjoyed the rain shower in the bathroom which is great. Everything about this hotel is first class including the food. The staff is outstanding in every respect. We extended our stay for 3 days. This is the best hotel that I have ever experienced. This is a great place for couples or for a honeymoon.
Restaurant Tip : There are some great restaurants in Cha Am that are cheaper than eating in the hotel. The food at the hotel is outstanding but a little pricey.

The design and architecture of hotel is very well done. View of hotel is beautiful.
I think door is too heavy and very difficult to open. However, when I stay in the room, the smell of bathroom is not good and later it disappear from room.
I think the design and architecture of hotel is very well done and this hotel is the right place for you to stay for relaxing and boost up your energy. The view of hotel is beautiful and suitable for taking the photo. Especially, in the night time, I think it’s more beautiful than the day time. The hotel has a private beach which will satisfy sun bathers and swimmers. The staffs are very polite, well trained, knowledgeable, and very helpful. For the room, the size is quite large and the furniture in the room is very high quality. Moreover, they provide Apple TV in the room for the guest and it already download movie, song and others in Apple TV. For the food, it’s so delicious.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel is located near Cha-am beach so you can go there.

Stunning architecture, large rooms, fab bathroom. Loved the complimentary afternoon tea every day at 4pm!
Alila is a gorgeous hotel, a place to get away from it all and relax. A place to chill out and recharge your batteries. Complimentary mountain bikes allow you to explore the local area, fishermans village restaurants and Cha-am. Hotel is in a quiet area, but if you want a bit more "action" you can take the complimentary mini bus into Hua Hin about 25 mins away. Staff all lovely, I can't wait to go back!
Restaurant Tip : Cycle to the Fishermans Village (10 mins) and enjoy fantastic seafood restaurants!

Large, spacious room
Coherent, pleasant design (including lights and smells too)
Hi-tech entertainment
Minibar selection
Quite far from everything
The raw-stone decoration seemed too bare, too cold for me
We visited the hotel for a 2 nights relaxation and it really provided us a peaceful, relaxing stay. First the height and the area of the room surprised me, it gave a very spacious feeling. The entertainment system is really high quality, with appletv (video/music on demand), 42" lcd tv and a good quality built-in sound system.
Swimming pool and restaurants look great, and the night lights and smells of the hotel gives a really relaxing, happy feeling.
Wi-fi coverage (and speed) is very good, with separate AP for every room.
The minibar had a surprisingly wide selection of alcoholic drinks, beside the usual softdrinks-snacks.

Photos don't lie - Hotel looks just like that!
Restaurant food is lovely (There's not much else around nearby).
The Chill Pool and Red Bar.
Rooms with Apple T.V. and high ceilings.
Only 1 computer for use in the library (at least it is a Mac).
Alila is gorgeous! I spent 3 nights there and didn't feel the need to leave. I didn't get bored once. It is a true sanctuary of hip and calmness, if you have the opportunity to go, go! From the rooftop restaurant and the view to the cabanas on the beach this place 'rocks'. Special mention must go to Non, who looked after me at the Chill Pool every day. Nothing was too much trouble.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Every night a postcard is left in your room highlighting the next days activities which include mountain bike riding and high tea at the Red bar.

Incredible big LCD with Apple TV: never seen it before in a hotel room, wonderful big bath shower: good experience to try, quiet room: like we are on the island alone.
Design is neat and comfortable. Clean and friendly services, right place to stay for relaxing and to boost up our energy. We enjoyed our 2 night trip even though it was raining sometimes but not our problem to fine tune the happiness. We will come back again shortly.
Restaurant Tip : There are lots of local seafood restaurants, the taste and price are fantastic, however, you are required to go by car about 10 minutes.

Alila is a very best place for take a pre wedding picture, there have much scene for this task. I love it.
There just push up cost to double for pre wedding pictures, so if you want to go Alila for take a pre wedding picture again, you will pay to much more than 6000 baht for day used and 10000 baht for over 1 night. It's not attractive for the couple to go there again. Only for the rich people.

This hotel is a wonderful place there are two swimming pool, so beautiful. This staff is very professional and the service perfect. The breakfast and the restaurant is so delicious. It's a very quiet place for rest around. 20km from Hua Hin. The furniture in the room are very high quality and the room size is very big. Everything is perfect and the kind of hotel is quite new in Thailand. We hope to come back soon.

The hotel is modern and naturally designed. They use Apple TV to show how they can be mordern and at the same time they use the wooden wall without any color, and an ordinary key (not a key card) to show the original living.
They need to change the material of the door because it's quite heavy.
I have never stayed in a hotel like Alila. This place offers privacy for private trip. I think I'll choose it as the first choice for a honeymoon.

200% excellent on the bathroom
door is too heavy and very difficult to open
My friend and I really really like the bathroom. It is gorgoeus and quite comfortable. The amentities (shower gel, body lotion, shampoo) are very good quaility. The hotel area is quite large the distance from the front desk to your room (if you stay close to beach is quite distance). The spa is very professional style. Pools are standard size but a bit small. We try dinner there. the food was delicious and had good decoration. The view and the night time is more beautiful than the day time because it's look dry and too warm at day time.
But overall is quite good but not yet excellent.

Faultless service
Spacious rooms
All mod cons
Very well thought out
A walk to town if you want to go
A 2 night stay here away from the rigours of life in Bangkok was so much more than we could have hoped for. From the first steps into the hotel the staff were attentive to all our needs until the moment we left. Yet, there was still a constant feeling of privacy and relaxation thanks to their discretion.
We will definitely be back as a treat as we aren't able to get used to such luxury weekends.
Restaurant Tip : The menu at the Motion restaurant is much more extensive and we found much better value than the Clouds Loft. Clouds Loft is a must for a pre or post-dinner cocktail though.

The bed and shower can always made us enjoy.
The route to the hotel is a bit difficult for the foreigner.
The moment we are at Alila, since the first step in with the very welcome smiles of the staffs and a lovely welcome drink. That we just though " This is right" for our special holiday. The beautifully landscaped gardens, relaxation and reflection pools. We are looking forward to come back again. It's nice.
Nightlife Tip : Have a drink at the hotel is the best thing you should do. Cha-am is a very quiet town in the night time.

Giant room and bathroom to match. Especially a large shower head in the ceiling that'll drench you with delight (also known as a "Rain Shower").
Give you some vouchers upon departure that get you excited until you find out the terms and conditions. But nevermind, it's not that bad.
Alila is a modern architecture hotel that has been neatly designed to make you feel relaxed. The hotel entrance has a grand staircase that is reminiscent of an Egyptian palace and is a striking reminder that things in this hotel are generally big; like the rooms with tall ceilings and plenty of space. In the rooms a large LCD screen with an Apple TV box gives plenty to play with. The iTunes songs are also connected to speakers in the bathroom for your pleasure. Apart from a "rain shower" there is a large bath supplied with bath salts. The hotel has a private beach which will satisfy sun bathers and swimmers. A pool of black design provides a warm swim and for those of traditional tastes a more bluer pool is located near the Red Bar. Food is great although the prices are a little high but what should be expected of a hotel of this class. For the facilities and staff, no complaints, so overall this is a good choice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Round the corner (but you won't notice it from the hotel) is Cha-am beach Suan Son, which is a public beach where you can get some really cool aeroplane kites!
