i decided to stay in this hotel because me and my wife like to old house design. this hotel was built around the traditional huahin bungalow that was built 101 year ago. you can still stay in the old house, but we prefer to stay in a new building. in the new building the room is comfortable with a design from the old day.
Shopping Tip:
Just across the hotel is Villa super market, which I think it's the best shopping center in Huahin. It's good to go during the day time when the sun is too hot to stay outside.

baan bayan hotel has a traditional charm. it's an old hotel that is very well maintained. i like the room and a very nice bathroom. the "seaview" was about 15-20 degrees wide and a ways off beyond the pool, not worth the additional cost. we walked to town and a shopping mall is across the street. the beach is large. over all a quality place in a good location.

it's was great to stay at bann bayan hotel. it's a peaceful holiday. the hotel is right on the beach wth lot's of trees, make it so relax and different from other hotel. i love to sit on the step seats,it's so private+ no beach vender.

We arrived later in the evening as I was delayed by work. We were checked in smoothly and shown to our room, which was a lovely fusion of old-world dark woods and silks and contemporary uplighting. Breakfast was great, with a nice selection and a great view of the ocean. Although we only stayed one night and it was a bit pricey (we live in Thailand so our expectations are a bit different from "tourists"), we will definitely return when we have more time.

We Love the Hotel on the first glance when we checked in! The room is nicely designed, the bathroom is spacious! The bed is comfy!
and we love the atmosphere at the hotel too: very private, very cozy, very homely feel! Yet just doorstep to the beach! Marvelous!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Plearwan in Hua Hin township is just worth a visit: Try to visit at night, as the atmosphere will be a lot more nicer! and the weather is a lot more comfortable as compared to daytime! It will bring you back your memories of childhood with all the nostalgic shops around!

hotel across from major shopping mall, and close to a night market as well. hotel is pricey considering what you get, which is not too much except good ambience and closeness to beach.

We returned to the Baan Bayan where I proposed to my wife to celebrate our recent marriage. The place is full of memories for both of us and we plan to return when we can on anniversaries. The rooms are great, well maintained, and very clean. The staff is very friendly, professional, and always helpful. The only bad thing we have to say about the visit was the weather, but that is not the hotels fault!
