Great villas

We stayed in the pool villas, which are a very private option away from the main hotel. Breakfast can be taken by the poolside restaurant, outside, which can be a bit uncomfortable later in the morning for heat.
Location is a very short walk for the main part of Hua Hin.. for its many bars and restaurants.

Classy hotel with great style.
Three beautiful swimming pools, gorgeous gardens and a delicious breakfast make this place a wonderful get away.

The room was very comfortable and charming. I loved the elegant simple style that was used to decorate every room in the hotel. The wood floors and antiques make for a lovely asthetic, while the staff made for a relaxing stay.
Shopping Tip:
Visit the artist's gallery 5 km outside of town, it is worth a vist.

Historic hotel perfectly updated

Our trip to Hua Hin was unexpected as we couldn't go to Koi Samui at the last moment since they had major flooding. We had stayed in the Sofitel about 12 years ago and remembered it was nice but we were blown away by the improvements made over the years including greatly increasing the number of rooms yet without making the property feel crowded. The pools were great and the breakfast buffet was top notch. The Sofitel saved our holiday for us.
Restaurant Tip:
Get out and walk through Hua Hin. It is so much calmer and less pushy than other beach resorts in Thailand. We had great seafood, Thai and tapas.

Fabulous colonial style hotel and guarden
architecture and setting is fabulous; rooms are very clean; proximity to nearby local restaurants (try "La Villa" Italian Restaurant)

the hotel is centrally located with on foot access to excellent local restaurants in the proximity of the hotel. the breakfast buffet is rich (try the freshly made juices and smoothies). at least three pools and a really nice guarden allow you to relax. the gym is ok but was missing some state-of-the-art fitness-bikes - the machines for jogging are good though. staff is very friendly. if you are looking for a hotel with private beach-access, go for other options. the beach is open to the public and features local horses ...

we were very happy for the luxury green light villa amenities and for the quiet envoriment in our stay. the villa was excellent for the longer holiday and we loved to enjoy of local birds singing for our backyard during our stay. the water on the pool itself was little
too cold to enjoy of swimming, unfortunately.
we would have been more happier to have more asian foods and canapes in the hotel instead of western ones, unfortunately there was wide selectiong onf french and western foods which we did not preferred.
anyhow, we can rekommend this hotel for the people how need to have relaxation in quiet place with luxury feeling.

The best there is in Hua Hin

This is a top notch hotel.We have stayed here many times.When speaking to many other guest they have to.That for me confirms how good this place is.Quality rooms , food , pools and most important staff.The other big plus is the location of the hotel. Right in the middle of town , you can walk every where.But it,s so nice to come back into the hotel grounds, it always make me smile.

Pay extra for the club membership. Free drinks and food it,s worth it.

The service is good. There was many people at reception, who took good care of guests.
The food is also nice . On the beach side, the service at the restaurant is good and the food is nice, but the view is beautiful as it opens right on the beach.
it's very spacious hotel and looks contemporary. There are lots of activities to do.
The rooms look a bit old, but the hotel is very nice. would go back again. there are many swimming pools to choose from. and the beach is nice. location is excellent. lots of restaurant to choose from.

Faultless stay once again. The service is impeccable with a very extensive buffet breakfast range that would be hard to beat. This hotel is not the cheapest by any means but you really do get what you pay for.

fantastic place to stay if you want to be close to central hua hin. we reserved the dulexe club room but were upgraded to one of their suite rooms because our room was not ready when we checked in. this was my first time to stay at this hotel with my finance. i will come back for sure. the staff is very friendly, the property is very attractive and close to the beach,shops, and restaurants. the breakfast buffet was good and the rooms were very spacious.
