nicely decorated rooms attentive staff

Although not located on a quiet street, one never hears street traffic noises. We enjoyed the room and even the morning breakfast. The staff was very attentive and always willing to help. I liked the fact that it was very close to mostly everything with convenience stores within meters of the hotel. The only complaint was the free wifi. I registered two rooms on two different floors and the connections were spotty at best lasting at most 10-15 minutes at a time before timing out. Why hotels that offer free wifi require a username and password boggles the mind, and then limit you to one login. As I travel with a phone, ipad and computer depending on what work I need to do, limiting me to one login required that I log off a device before logging into another. Weak!
I have stayed a cheaper hotels in the area, certainly not a cute, but when you are trying to do business or stay connected via the internet, spotty or non-existent wifi is not acceptable. I don't mind paying for it, just make it available. As a result I would not return. To their credit they did't object when I asked to use the wired connection in the lobby or look up things at their wired reception desk machines.

Best center located hotel in Hua Hin
Well maintained with interesting decorations. Perfect location for walking around town

First stay in this hotel after many visits to Hua Hin. We prefer central locations as we do not want to rely on local rip off taxis . Good car parking which is unusual for central hotels, walking distance to all shopping and eateries. Breakfast provided was adequate.

Really a glorified guest house

the location in the city centre was very convenient and a 2 minute walk to the night market and plenty of excellent restaurants.we arrived at 12.30 pm and were kept waiting till 2pm for access to our room.the room was adequate but there is no room service and the shower was very poor. no shower curtain and a very inadequate flow of water.
frankly we expected more considering the price of the accommodation. the breakfast selection was very poor and most of the food was cold. the restaurant was tiny and had all guests arrived at the same time there was no way everybody could be seated.
hua hin is a lovely resort but generally room costs are much higher than the equivalent in bangkok.
Nightlife Tip:
No obvious nightlife in the city centre. Hua Hin is great for families and people requiring a relaxed hassle free holiday.

very enjoyable, staff very helpful, but as usual no english so just go with the flow. Pool small but very few people so perfect, rooftop with water views and swim up bar, plus shallow area for small kids. walk to beach market,and few bars restaurants, good spot
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
monkey hill, swim well past south of hilton as not pleasant, dead fish and pollution, km down beach much better.
horse riding on beach was great for kids, plenty of shade under palm trees on beach also a treat

Right in the center of Hua Hin

this hotel was close to the hua yin golf course where my daughter was having the golf tournament during the 2nd week of nov., i did'nt choose the official hotel, i.e. the hua hin grand hotel where the location was not great and the price was the same. chalelarn hotel is well decorated in thai style and the roof top pool is fantantic and i used it very often.the van to bangkok was just at the other end of the street.it took 3 hours to reach bangkok, victory momentum station

Price is too expensive for this small room. Parking lot is for not more than 15 cars. Everything else is okay and fine. Great service mind.
It is very easy to find the hotel. From hotel we can walt to shopping area and restaurants.

Nice Quiet Comfortable Hotel

Decided on this hotel mainly because of price and location.
Never being to Hau Hin before, we did think it was a little closer to the action than it was, but it turned out perfect due to peace and quiet of the area.
Bars and restaurants are only a 5 or 10 min walk away or grab a tuk tuk out the front.
Night markets are across a few streets. You can see the lights from the hotel.
Across the road is a great Thai (local) eatery. Go to the one with pictures, last on the left.
5 dishes with coke for $16 and excellent quality.
Pool is clean, as is the spa.
Due to quiet time, your not able to buy refreshments but just grab them at 7/11 across the road and put them in the ref at the pool.
If you like a beer, Hau Hin has restrictions on buy alcohol from 1 till 5pm or something like that, so buy early to drink later if thats your thing.
Breakfast was a little array of Thai dishes and the usual cereal, bacon, sausage and eggs.
Really nice and plenty of it.
Enjoyed our stay and would do it all again.
Travel tip:
Get the suite.
For a few extra dollars you will enjoy the spa and bigger room.
Can they really see in on from the outside when the glass has that shade color?
Oh well ;)

Lovely hotel in a good location

The hotel is in a small soi just off the main road. The signage on the hotel is not big, so you might just miss it if you are driving too fast. You can walk to the night market and the many seafood restaurants along the beach, so it is very convenient. Breakfast can be better though. The eggs are really soaked in oil when brought to me.
