Great everything.
Pool, location, room, view, staff.

Best little Hotel in Hua Hin. No complaints at all. Rooms are very tastefully decorated, with lots of little design touches that lift it above the norm.
Walking distance from everything in downtown Hua Hin.
Drinking a bottle of bubbly in the pool at sun set, bliss.
Staff are friendly and speak English well enough.
Breakfast is good considering the price of the hotel, even have real bacon.
Shopping Tip:
Night market is a short 5 minute walk away. A must do when in Hua Hin.

Excellent hotel although let down by breakfast!

the chalelarn hotel is an excellent small hotel in the centre of hua hin. it is close to the night market and the beach. the rooms are well decorated and the roof top pool is a is a top class little addition to the hotel. the major drawback is breakfast, it is limited in choice and varies day to day. by the end of the stay we were bored with it.
Restaurant Tip:
Visit a restaurant called Moonview terrace close to the pier. Excellent food and location.

High quality hotel in downtown Hua Hin
Room was larger than our apartment, conventient to walk to night market and piers for dining.

Stayed for two nights - a bit above our normal standard but it was for a quasi-honeymoon after a phiteemun ceremony. High quality, but not much personality. Staff was helpful, but not exceptionally friendly, but then we usually stay in smaller properties.

I have traveled a lot through northern Thailand and have always been impressed by great service. This time, in southern Thailand, the staff was not so nice. Perhaps there are too many tourists. The room was lovely, nice shower room, and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Choice of regular western hot and cold dishes as well as Thai food.

small hotel with simply breakfast but hotel is clean with thai style interior design. bed is comfortable. will stay again for my next trip.

the hotel was clean but the rooms were not well maintained. The security bolt for the door was broken off at the building side . It was very obvious so I didn't report it as i knew the staff was well aware of it. The toilet paper holder was dangling and the shower wand holder was laying on a shelf. The necessary repairs just weren't done.
This is a hotel that only allows a person to connect one wireless device at a time. Unfortunately even that connection was only spotty. I finally gave up on the hotels WiFi and used my phone as a hotspot. They would not give me another password for the internet.
The breakfast was just a notch BELOW acceptable. The selection was minimum and the eggs served in a buffet style server were runny and floating in oil. Coffee was hot water and help yourself to a jar of instant. We had breakfast twice during our four days there. We checked out with a day remaining on our paid visit.
We won't be back
The housekeepers were very nice but after they left the room we realized the mop they used left a stench of mold that lasted until it was all dried out. No wonder they used a can of air freshener as a last thing.

Excellent location, well appointed rooms, bathroom was a little small...The bed was to die for, big, comfortable, best we have ever slept in. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in central Hua Hin, easy walking to the night market, beach and shops. The staff are helpful and friendly, the hotel is very tastefully decorated and clean. Outside the hotel are bike rental shops, taxi and taxi bikes, plenty of food shops and as always lots of friendly Thais. We think the hotel is great value for money and will be back.
