Low price, Friendly Staff, Good breakfast Slow internet, slow air conditioning, hot water very intermittent, hotel butts up to the ocean - no sandy beach to lay on, quite far from town. Most of comments listed in the pros and cons, but I can also say that, while there are many negatives listed, they are not very serious negatives and the price is quite a bit lower than the other hotels in the same area. The staff does not speak much English, but they are friendly and very cooperative. If you don't mind being far from town and having no sandy beach, you won't mind this hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Excellent seafood available nearby at Madam Greene's Seafood. A short tuk tuk ride away.

Hotel in a lovely location right on the beach so was a lovely breeze by the pool. Got upgraded to a Bridal Suite so had a lovely 5 nights in an appartment with a four poster bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not sure about swimming in the sea there seemed to be lots of jelly fish. The hotel was very quiet, nothing to do there at night. Didnt think much of the breakfast very Thai orientated. Dont really fancy eating stir fry and rice in the morning, but hey that's my english palate I suppose!! Shop was very limited. Check in was very quick and staff gave a lovely welcome. Hotel was lovely but facilities were a bit lacking and speaking some other guests they didn't have tea or coffee facilities in their room. Go to Hua Hin town its lovely lots of stuff going on. I felt very safe there and found wherever I went everyone was very friendly. Hotel was also very secure with 24 hr security.
Shopping Tip : Go to night markets in Hua Hin, very good.

close to the beach.quiet place beach not that great.got jellyfish wont mind staying here again.cheap compare to the neighboring hotels or resorts.
Shopping Tip : walk out to the main road and take a tuk-tuk or public transport to a new shopping center just few minutes down the road.

The Chom View Hotel is very Old age approximate 30-40years old. The elevator is so narrow and very old. Breakfast buffet is so outdoor,the time we visited,it's raining in the raining season,they only have limited seats under roof and the way to the restaurant is open to get wet.
The price is not suitable. The service and food is good.

The beach below do not contain many rocks and stones that other parts of Hua Hin beach does. Poor breakfast which is served in a very hot garden with a exceptionell large amount of flies and bugs. Located a out of walking distance from Hua Hin city, but the hotel has a bus which can take you to the city, the price is 40B. It´s an old resort and it shows. If you´re depending on a internet connection you can only use it between, 9am-6pm. You buy coupons for 100B for 60 minutes and then sit down in the library. The speed is good, but it´s wasn´t working everyday.

Breakfast - because were were early! Allocated an awful room (404A); unhelpful front office staff; non-existent housekeeping; On arrival we were allocated an absolutely awful room in the last block - when we protested how this could be a DELUXE room, we were shown even a worse, dinghy, dark room. The front office staff were full of apathy and although they knew spoken English they showed no signs of being helpful. No-one was prepared to acknowledge that we had been given a bad room

Lovely Resort with sand and sea Everything alright for resort Chom View Hua Hin is a good located resort;near a night market and closed to the sea.I can see a sand and sea from my room.In my room very lovely with boutigue decolations.I wish I will back to this resort again

The hotel was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was generally relaxing with a beautiful view. I was disappointed by the lack of internet options. Internet was available using the hotel's desktops, but was expensive. No wireless was available...although staff clearly had access. The hotel restaurant had good dishes but the menu selection was a little limited and the prices fairly high. The Chom View Hotel is a good place to go for a holiday. It is a quieter location away from the main party centers of Hua Hin town...but close enough that a brisk walk or a quick car ride will take you to the town center. If you are at the hotel during the low tide season, the beach walk is great. The hotel calls itself a "family hotel" and this is apparent with a quick glance at its guests. If you do not want to be around a lot of children, this might not be your best option. However, my housemate and I had an very agreeable holiday here.
Restaurant Tip : There is a good restaurant with a great view up on "Chopstick mountain" close to the hotel. I am not sure of its name but it is known for the giant rock that looks like a frog that sits on the edge of the ocean right beside it. We also enjoyed the "California Catina" in town as well as "Bir Chilli" in the night market area. And don't be fooled by the Hua Hin Grand Night Market...it is not the "real" one!

Good value for Hua Hin. Buffet breakfast included. Helpful staff.
Location could be better. No beach access. Some rooms are much more updated than others. The Chom View is a good place to stay for travelers on a budget or for families with young children. The buffet breakfast was good as was the thai restaurant. The location is quite far from town, and we found it was best to rent a motorbike to get to restaurants/beach etc.

Excellent value. Clean and quiet. Hotel is not located on a sand beach and is far from town and amenities. The Chom View Hotel is an excellent value as a 3 star hotel. The rooms are dated but clean, with comfortable beds and a full sized tub with rain shower. The hotel seems to be a recent merger of 2 or 3 adjoining hotels, with some rooms much closer to the beach and the pool than others. Breakfast was excellent. This is a family friendly resort, and we were happy to see so many thai families vacationing at this resort. Would stay here again for the Agoda rate.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent a motorbike from one of many shops on the main road in order to get to the main beach, shopping, or even to monkey mountain!

breakfast not good, but I was there during off season. It was very quiet there I was there during off season so it was very quiet. I'm not sure if I would go to this hotel again since it is out of the way. They did provide a shuttle which was nice, but I like to be able to walk around and this wasn't that conducive to walking....
