Great hotel that is in a nice and quiet location

Small and charming hotel, we stayed in the villa and the beach was right in front. Our room was very big and clean.
The only downside was that they set up the extra bed at the bay window and my friend who slept there couldn't sleep all night because there were ants crawling around his bed.
Tip: You can actually catch the sunrise on the beach but we missed it during our stay.

Our stay started very badly. We booked a beachside suite which stated that it had panoramic views and we particularly wanted ocean views from the room. Upon arrival we were given a suite with no sea view, just garden view. Despite politely complaining we were given no other option than to pay more to upgrade. Following my finally getting upset at the situation and the assistant manager not allowing us to cancel the booking the general manager was contacted by phone who upgraded us for nothing.
However after this was sorted we found the rooms to be very nice, the hotel was quietly romantic, the pools and beach were relaxing and I highly recommend this hotel for its restaurant food, awesome breakfast.

We were looking for a hotel with a different feel to the normal 4 or 5 star, ie more boutique.A precondition was the availibility of Wifi. On arriving at the hotel we found there was NO wifi in the room. We complained but was told that there is wifi available at the lobby, but even here the wifi was patchy. One could perhaps tolerate this in a 2 star hotel, but when you are paying a 5 star price this is not acceptable, especially as we understand the hotel is fairly new. There are only 24 rooms so one could easily have hard wired all the rooms for internet! Beach area not sandy
