The 3.5-star Dune has a great location on the main Hua Hin Beach only a very short drive to the town centre. The rooms stylistically minimalist and fully- equipped, with an entertainment unit that gives you individually controlled music in both the room and swimming pool. Providing a beautiful view of Hua Hin Beach and the mountains, the fusion restaurant and cocktail bar are located on the rooftop and serve amazing Euro-Asian food. Guests highly recommend the parsley-crusted snow fish.

the best place for romance at the top floor of Dune...sun set and good music..so romantic not direct to the beach ( have to walk a little) i love the Dune restuarant ..lovely and romantic at sunset...good food , good location for lovers..
the room s nice and big ( suite) and all convinient things in the room...perfect shower/bath tub
especially the private swimming pool the best thing i have experience

well designed and all mod cons provided; friendly service; stayed in the Dune Suite for 3 days over a weekend. well designed room full of all mod cons (flat screen, dvd player, i-pod dock etc etc). private pool good for cooling off but don't expect to swim lengths in it (or in the main pool for that matter). the suite is on the ground floor but has its own private entrance and a retractable canopy which means you can relax unobserved by the pool if you wish. we took breakfast by the pool in the suite but you can have it in the restaurant if you so wish. the hotel is not right on the beach (it is 50 metres down the lane) and there is a bit of a jump down to the beach. at high tide, there is no beach. situated in a quiet area of Hua Hin but a number of restaurants are within walking distance. the front desk can order a tuk tuk to take you into the main part of town (as parking is a hassle in the centre). secure parking available next door. roof top bar (but can be chilly at night).

The Dune hotel is a boutique hotel consisting of only five rooms. The staff are attentive and always very helpful.
The deluxe room is beautifully decorated with a very relaxing ambiance.
Being a small hotel it is very personal with special touches to make your stay more enjoyable. The location of the hotel was one thing that we found to be a con. It is about a 15-20 min walk into the main shopping and tourist area...which some may find an advantage! Also, the restaurant is on the top floor with wooden stairs leading up to it past the bedrooms, so it can be a bit noisy when the public use the restaurant at night. Also, the pool area is quite small. Ok if there are only a few in the hotel, would be a problem if a group wanted to lie around the pool. We really enjoyed our stay at the Dune hotel. The rooms were always kept at a very high standard, and the staff made us feel very comfortable and welcome.
A great place for couples, don't think of taking the kids! Highly recommended for a quiet romantic getaway where you are treated like royalty!
Restaurant Tip : There aren't too many restaurants near the hotel ( that we were game to eat in ) but it's only 15-20 min walk or a 100baht tuk tuk ride into town ( near the Hilton ) for all the cheap reasaurants.
