individual staff are friendly

rooms are in rather desolate conditions particularly the bathroom. We asked for a number of arrangements and nothing was prepared upon arrival. the resort must have been gorgeous when it opened but now it is really time for a major renovation.

The resort did not meet our expectations as a high class resort. Communication between departments failed miserably and the whole compound needs a major uplift if it wants to compete with the new hotels in the Hua Hin area.

Gardens - beautiful and well kept Breakfast - very extensive Beds - very comfortable Service - very friendly and helpful Location - far away from all the hustle (though a con too)

Rooms - would benefit of renovation, esp for a 5 star resort Location - far away from everything, so no good choice in outside, cheaper restaurants/massage, as the beach restaurants/massages are not that great

It was perfect for my relaxing "me" time, where i did not want to do anything but read, sleep and eat. Though I most likely would not go there again, as I think for a 5 star/cost, I expected more luxury. I would have expected free, wireless internet access in the rooms, but you had to pay for a wire service in the room. This in my case did not work/was extreemly slow. They do have 2 free computer for everyone to access, but they are too quite slow. (you also get wifi in the bar) The rooms are quite dated, and towards the end of the week (and most likely due to the monsoon) a bit smelly (bathroom). I found the treatments and the restaurant quite expensive, though the food was very good indeed, but there was no alternative (the outside massage places are the typical beach huts) Nevertheless, I did have a relaxing time, so if you get a very good deal, go for it.

Beautiful communal areas, including the gardens and restaurants. Breakfast catered for everyone and had the best almond croissants.

The rooms were dated and old. We were in a studio room which has sliding shutters from the bathroom to bedroom but water from the shower had caused the wood on the shutters to swell and therefore could not be closed properly and every time we took a shower the water ended up in the bedroom. The room was very dark with no natural light although we had a corner room and we were unable to use the day bed on our terrace as water from the balcony above dripped onto it all day long. House keeping was very slow to make up our room, we came back at 2pm and then again at 5pm and our room had still not been made up. When we asked for umbrellas for our sun loungers they had non left although and we were not there during high season. When you've staying in other hotels which are better priced and not in the middle of no where but are also 5 star, Evason pales in comparison to them.

The beach is very small with room enough for approximately 15 sun loungers. Since there is really nothing around the hotel you have very little choice but to eat there (unless you pay a taxi or hotel shuttle to take you to Hua Hin) and the food is very expensive, if you order a burger, french fries are an addition 100 baht.

Travel tip : If you really have to stay at Evason and would like to go to Hua Hin make sure you get a local taxi as they are much cheaper than the hotel shuttle.

Services. Italian food. decoration and theme concept.

notthing. I hadnt have enough time to see around this hotel and resort.

It seems to be a city in the resort such as restaurants and activities. The decoration is so beautiful and uses easy sign for cleaner to clean rooms such as put the palm tree when customers need to make new beds. I think that it is the unique selling point of this hotel. Services are good, all people are smile and friendly with customers. Food is yummy and romantic decoration. It is absolutely perfect for me and my fiance. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

the price is still attractive accordingly to the market, the resort is quiet, and the public beach is like private.

it is quite far away from huahin town, it take at least 20mins to get there. and not too many choice of restaurant nearby. the beach is narrow and no life guard.

the resort is quite far away from hauhin town. and there is nothing in the neighbourhood. anyway, it is good for people who really wanted to hide-away, the hotel name already reminded you that. you can be totally relax and enjoy life without leaving your room. another good things about this resort is very quiet. the most people you can see is at breakfast time.

Shopping Tip : there is a permium outlet near cha am...

Nice setting, lush surroundings, socially responsible/eco-friendly, GREAT SPA.

Not enough water pressure in the showers.

The resort is excellent. They preserve the natural surroundings as much as possible and the landscape is beautiful. The spa treatments, offers and service were excellent, prices could have been lower, but that was expected for this kind of hotel. The food was really good and they offer a good selection of Intl, local and Italian.

Travel tip : Make sure you pay a visit to the spa.

Very peaceful and relaxing concept hotel.

Beach is over the road from the hotel but still very easily accessed.

This is a beautiful resort with unique features that definitely make it worthwhile – we have stayed here before and it is always nice to come back. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with fabulous bedding and menu of pillow options. The aromatherapy bath products are natural, luxurious and eco-friendly (in full size ceramic bottles/not plastic). Service is very personalized and your butler/maid will leave a special treat on your bed during the evening turn down service. Breakfast is fresh and abundant and particularly nice enjoyed on the shady veranda. The resort offers daily activities for adults and children that are worth taking advantage of.

Travel tip : The hotel offers return transportation from Bangkok which is much more expensive than renting a car and driving or hiring a driver to take you there.

Its transquility and friendliness of hotel staff

Cats, i don't like cats but they're wandering around even near the breakfast room.

Evason Resort is really hideaway by its name. It's located in a remote area but with all facilities you would ever need. There are plenty of cool activities including water painting. Though the session wasn't available during out trip there. It's good for longer stay. Room is great and comfy! We really slept well for the 2-night stay our the garden view room.

Restaurant Tip : Have asked the hotel staff on the arrival day where to find a quick lunch nearby. Been told it'd be about 10minutes drive to find many restaurants there. We drove there and only found a few Som-tum Kai-Yang shops there. A bit disappointing. Would recommend to drive towards Hua-Hin for a meal better than driving around in the area.. you're only gonna find local foods. :)

We stayed @Pool Villa. Open bath tab and shower was pretty good. We could feel very relaxed.

Pice of food at hotel restaurant was not so expensive. However variety and taste was so so... (Comparing to my expectation for six sence group, it was a little bit disapointed.)

Maybe I put too much expectation on this hotel, because it's one of the famous six senses group hotel. Lobby and room atomsophere was good. However food was so so. Price was rather cheap. But I expected more outstanding food, because all restaurants are shared with "Hideaway".

Great for relaxation and sports-tennis facilities and mountain bike excursions were great. We love the butler stationed outside every house. It gave such a personal touch! The food was great! Swimming pool was very nice.

The mountain bikes could come in more sizes. They were very big and not suitable for women or teens. The beach was not very nice and quite disappointing. Kids menu needs more variety. Tennis hitting partners could be more consistent.

Evason was a great family vacation, as we not only had a relaxing time, but were also able to exercise. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, and playing sports such as swimming, biking and tennis, which we particularly liked. The rooms were very well designed, as you could tell that it was very well thought-out. We had a fantastic time there.

We love this resort. It is starting to show its 7 year age, but this doesn't detract from the resort if you are after a relaxed resort rather than a fancy 5 star. It is not a big international hotel but reflects the thai culture. The Oriental massage in the spa was one of the best massages I have had.

Travel tip : The hotel is a 3 hour drive from Bangkok. We organised our transfer from Oriental Escapes and chose a brand new 4 wheel drive. It made the trip a lot more comfortable than the standard car you get from the airport and we were able to organise a proper car-seat for our baby (not easy to do in Thailand).

Enjoy cheap authentic Thai food at restaurants in Hua Hin town itself. There is one Thai coffee shop across the night market street which serves great food at a fraction of the hotel price.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Nightmarket at Hua Hin is a must. The day market is also another attraction.

If you go to the hotel from Hua Hing station, you need to catch "pick up taxi" and this is almost unavoidable, as there seems to be no other transportation way. But, when you go back to the station, you can find the wagon taxi at the counter at the beach near from the hotel.
