Helpful reception staff. Pool area. After rain, puddles form outside doors of rooms The Hua Hin Grand Hotel and Plaza is situated about ten to fifteen minutes walk to the beach and set well back from the town's main street. The Plaza in front of the hotel is turned into a night market most nights and is a hive of lights and activity with lots of food stalls. The staff on reception were very helpful and the rooms were well presented and comfortable. The pool area is quite large, with a seperate children's pool and a Spa.
Shopping Tip : Market Town, which is about a ten minute walk from the Hotel on the right. This is an Airconditioned modern shopping mall with food restaurants on the 2nd. floor.

Walking distance to night market.
Good breakfast. a little far from beach. There is free shuttle bus, but not so often.
We found ants in toilet tissue. As mentioned above. Good price, good breakfast, good location to night market. However, little far from beach, which need to wait for hotel shuttle bus, only 2 times in the morning. Should add more times to beach. However, it is no so clean We found ants in toilet tissue. In general, it is so so hotel in Hua Hin.

Nice spacious room with good views

Good buffet breakfast
Friendly staff
Lovely older style hotel with impressive foyer and relaxing lounge, the room was spacious with a good view of the mountains. The breakfast buffet had a good choice of hot and cold foods, someone will quickly serve you coffee or tea. The location is quite good, only a short walk to the old city, Anusam night markets and good restaurants close by. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Many evenings from about 5pm to 10pm a cart serving rotee will park across the road from the hotel, banana with egg rotee is my indulgence. Try the Whole Earth restaurant just near the hotel.

Close the pool area too early We were satisfied with this hotel. It was in a good location and within walking distance to restaurants, markets and shopping arcades. Also close to beach. The rooms were a good size and clean and staff were good. The pool area was nice but closed too early. The meals were good. Would recommend.
