Putahracsa Resort, Hua Hin / Cha-am

beautiful hotel,high end but worth the money for good services and attention to detail,relaxing spa recommended big outside pool and small pools next to the villas ,rooms very clean and well decorated with a modern contemporary feel new with big bathrooms shower and bath tv with many channels dvd set, plenty of space to move around in the room, huge mini bar,good choice with the room service menu mixture of thai and european foods some fusion dishes all served with a touch of first class appeal,breakfast varied and plenty. a great location and hotel for family's and couples

We booked the San Sky Villas. The website gives the impression that they are beachside and have a private pool (or maybe it's just me). They aren't! They are across the road and grouped around a small pool to serve all the villas. We were offered the option to upgrade at an increased price but decided to stay where we were as we felt a little cheated. There is also nothing to say that the villas are non smoking and you have to go up to the terrace to smoke. Had I known that I probably would have looked else where. Overall the hotel is very nicely laid out and looks nice. It is by no means a 5 minute stroll into town, more like 15.

I only stayed one night at Silksand area. Whole environment was quiet and kept marticurously clean, it was such a pleasure to stay at the hotel. Very detailed care for every detail of the interior/exterior. Staff seemed to be well-educated, and friendly. I would love to go back and hopefully next time I can stay longer!

First impression of the hotel is a slightly confused one with entrance to the hotel located on both sides of the road. As it turns out, the hotel is split based on the rooms, cheaper ones being unconnected to the sea. All other facilities are also split: breakfast room, car park and check-ins. Amazing if you can afford the beach-side room, not so good if you cannot. And the hotel has made no effort in specifying this fact in their marketing. We stayed in the Silksand, which is on the 'wrong' side and once you get past this fact, the resort is a very nice place with welcomed staffs informed of our identity and rooms from the car park. The room has a nice simplistic touch to it, though it has to be said that for comparable price, you can expect more from resorts off-town.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are of a design that will bring a wow to your lips. Very very beautiful. The food is of a superb quality and the staff is great too, they are not stressed but understand what service is about. This place is heaven... go for it.

Super helpful and considerate staff. They would even cover our car during the day so that it stayed cool, and they gave us a bottle of water on our departure and took a picture of us as well. All these little considerations may it quite special.

I recomment this hotel strongly, for some reasons: 1. staffs are warm, nice, and introce you where is good to play and visit. 2. the spa in hotel is very comfortable. 3. the location is near night market.....and more reasons. I'll visit here again. PS.we don't dine in hotel, therefore no comments!!^^

My boyfriend and I had a very comfortable stay. The hotel was simple but lovely. The room was very tidy and comfortable. The hotel staffs were all very friendly and served great home made passion fruit tea ^^ If the package included breakfast for choice of either at the beach front restaurant or buffet would be perfect.

The Putahracsa is great! We loved it. One of the most beautiful, relaxing and in-style resorts I have ever stayed at…and I travel a lot. We were quite stressed when we arrived, but the friendly staff and the calming surroundings quickly gave us peace of mind. The hotel is very stylish, perfect…after my taste. You will not find gold and shiny surfaces, but everything is kept in a natural style - fabrics, wood and concrete. The colours are kept in white, off-white, beige and wood. We had our room cleaned twice a day, they even removed hair from my hairbrush. The VERY romantic seaside restaurant had delicious food, great view of the beach and ocean and the price level was very reasonable. Cheaper than many restaurants in town, but in a completely different league. The location was also great, a 5-7 minutes walk to centre. You have “your own” beach and don’t need to travel to the beach where all the crowded tourists are. The Putahracsa has a chill-out/lounge feeling, playing low calming music from the speakers located around and in the lawn. Maybe a bit boring for families with children, but perfect for the rest of us that need to relax and enjoy each others company in calming surroundings. This was what I needed - now my batteries have been recharged at the Putahracsa and I am ready for work again.

I love the library. There is quite a variety of books and magazines. The huge sofa in the library is so relaxing. The resort offers free Tuk Tuk service to the Clock Tower which is very convenient.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Hua Hin. Close to the ocean, the room is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious and the service is excellent. Also, its a boutique so not the feel of massive chain resort, depends if you like that.

Don't forget to join the spa, it's very nice and relax : )

We stayed at the Putahracsa Hua Hin Hotel for two weeks in April 2008. We found the room size to be adequate although a little smaller than the usual in Thailand. The pool was superb as were the double sunbeds, a slight downside was the quietness in the hotel. Most days we had the pool to ourselves which was a pity as this hotel is a little gem. The staff were very attentive and the cleaning regime for the hotel and rooms was second to none. Only ate in the restaurant for breakfasts as it was very rarely used on an evening due to lack of guests. Quality of food we had was excellent.
