great garden setting with palm trees and water and fish, quiet and peaceful, spacious rooms, nice view of the sea, free minivan shuttle to Hua Hin, free bicycle rent. Not a 4 Star standard, lack of maintenance and management everywhere, bad TV reception with few channels, service and staff shortage, hotel mainly caters for Thai companies meeting here, we felt overlooked, no other western tourists here, restaurant ok but not 4 Star, limited selection with some things not available for several days. although in a charming setting with huge potential for a great resort the hotel lacks maintenance and service,for example the pool area was dirty and although mentioned to reception was never cleaned once during the stay of 5 days, full of leaves, sunbeds dirty and populated with ants, Pool towels not available or only on demand, main clientele seem to be large business meetings of Thai companies. Overall disappointing although quite reasonable in price compared to other "real" 4 and 5 Star resorts in the area. Nothing to see or look at in the area around the hotel, beach ok but no trees or shade, Hua Hin is 20km away.
Restaurant Tip : definitely the small restaurant next to the resort called "Very Good Restaurant", great fresh food, great service at moderate prices. Booked out every evening!

Poor maintained walkway pond withdead fishs
Expensive WIFI (1xx B/hr) This resort is one of the very 1st & good family resort inthis location but the high tide has gone. The resort needs refreshing to keep up with those newer & more hip resorts recently bloom within 5 mins drive around this area. The rooms are clean but decoration refreshing will help improving imression. Walway pond needs circulation & filtration. Fish over-feeding conterminates the still water pond & kill those poor fishs. Free WIFI is a must for big child in the family (most of the resort of this price rang have it)

2 pools, comfortable room (we had villa), with big doors/windows on deck, we had a sea view though not many have, fridge/safe in room, very pretty bar/pool overlooking sea access to wireless internet expensive and inconvenient We came to the area as a family learn to kite surf and Tanao Sri Resort is just down the road from kitesurf center so was convenient to it. It has a more traditional Thai/Tropical beach look from the sea side, though from the reception side you feel like you're coming into a spa. We stayed in a "villa" which is the upper or lower floor of little buildings organized down a meandering wooden walkway surrounded by fish in a long pond. It's all quite peacefull.
Note that in Thailand wind shifts alot during the year so check with the kite shops well in advance before you plan the trip.

A lot of trees, very quiet. The room was quite wide, it made me feel comfortable. The requested baby cots were old. The ordered meal was very slow to show up. I and husband went here with my 2 daughters, (one is 2.2 years and another is 4 months). The villa room type was very wide, it's very good for my family. The resort have a lot of trees, it's nice. The rest room was also wide. However, the requested baby cots were quite old. Overall, it's quite reasonable for my family.

Near beach, quiet environment. Hotel restaurant, Air-con system, Hot-water system. We booked for a standard room which we could see the beach from our room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the air-con system was quite noisy and the hot water system was not working very well.
The hotel offers variety of foods on its breakfast menu. However, the staffs at the restaurant can't read and understand its menu which only available in English. We were the only guests but we had to wait more than half an hour to get our food. Food quality should also be improved. Staffs should also learn how to serve the food.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We went to a local restaurant not so far from the hotel called "O X". Very good for seafood lovers.

Famous restaurants around this area can not cope well during long vacations.... Go have nice dinner at Hua Hin instead and you will not be angrily hungry.

So much space in room. Rate is not too high. The room is very wide. Property's facilities is simple. Should have more staff to take care customer and advise customer about property guide and introduction to use the property's facilities. The car park space is too small not enough for guest room capacity same as restaurant table.

Breakfast buffet is very good and the staff very helpful. Bikes are available and a ride into Pranburi town is interesting
Travel tip : It is difficult to reach this resort by bus or train from Bangkok so consider renting a van and driver because the 4 hour trip is quite enjoyable.

On the whole it was a good experience. It is comfortable and relaxing place. There are 2 pools and very pleasant garden. But room’s décor is very poor. The breakfast at the hotel is definitely bad. Hotel gives an opportunity traveling to Hua Hin by Shuttle bus from 5 pm return 9 pm when we could had a excellent dinners. The manager is very good, gave personal care to everyone. Thank you so much

It was somewhat uneasy to find out about the surrounding points of interests. The customer is pretty well left to himself. We found a taxi with a gentleman that spoke enough english to bring us to interesting places. We also used the bikes available at the hotel one day. The food at the hotel is definitely bad. That was a low point in our stay. We were able to get high quality food at a fraction of the price not far from the hotel.

We would definitely not stay there again unless there had been a complete overhaul. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you have to go there, try to get a room on the first floor, where they have large balconies.

not much place around there... good price, quiet and seaside location(but not with beach. When I was there, too many retire people staying for long period. For retirement, it might be good place to stay. But for the younger generation, it might be bored, since there's nothing, really nothing around the place. may visit once i get retired.

This accomadation was equal to a one-star. Really upset at standards and advertised description of resort.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Shuttle bus into Hua Hin 5 pm return 9 pm on a bus that's older than resort.
