Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Like returning home
Location and friendly service
7.7
This was my third stay at the Tanawit. This time i had been to Cha am and been totally disappointed in the guest house I had chosen so I came back to the Tanawit. As usual the recepition staff were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and aircon worked well. It is not 5 star but what you get is value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go down to the wharf and have a seafood meal while sitting over the water. Then go to Fat Cat Cafe nearby and have coffee while listening to good live jazz music from Dr.Jazz who plays the bass and trumpet accoompanied by taped background

Good location and the room was very clean and comfortable.
Very easy access to night market, clock tower, and HuaHin station.
Unfortunately pool was under construction, so if I could use
the pool, it would have been better.

Hotel is still underconstruction in some areas
In the middle of the town

Hotel has renovated the room, which makes the room much better especially in the toilet. it is in very good condition.
however the elevetors are quite old. The biggest thing that disappoint me is that in the pool area the building is still undercontruction and lots of workers there, so i had to close my curtain all day because they will look into my room.
Nightlife Tip:
From the hotel, you can walk to the night market, Roti is very yummy, i highly recommend!

Nice hotel in a good location
Location and friendly atmosphere
7.3
We stayed for a week in the Hotel Tanawit and really enjoyed it. It's in a good location in a nice quiet soi with several coffe shops with almost a French feel to it.
The rooms were large but a bit old and in need of renovation.
We stayed for a week and the breakfast buffet got a bit boring in that time.

Perfect location with access to the night market
pool facilities were good
7.7
Our three day stay was pleasant at this hotel.Construction works adjacent the rooms and pool area at the time were a minor inconvenience and the breakfast was average.Rooms were a little on the small side, but were for sleeping purposes only.
Overall a good experience for the price. If we were going to stay longer i would be looking for a slightly larger room, but this is purely personal preference.Good experience overall and would recommend.
Travel tip:
Priced appropriately given room size and facilities / proximity to the local night markets etc....

Great location, but a little old
7.3
This is a very nice hotel in a good location for the centre of Hua Hin, though the beach is about 10 minutes walk away.
it's quite a large hotel spread across three buildings. We were in building three which apparently is the new building, but the rooms were actually quite dated.
We had a few maintenance issues, like the air con not working and the shower was barely a dribble of water, but these were sorted out quickly by the very pleasant staff.
It looks like they are renovating part of the hotel, which is good as it does need updating.

Great location but quite old

The location is very good but the room quite old. Doesn't have enough kind of breakfast and the taste is not good. the spa here is quite expensive. the price is quite expensive in the long holiday if compare to the quality.
