Small and comfortable. The hotel is not too big and very good for family. I love the sand bunker under the tree. It is good for children to play there all day without sunburn.
The restuarant by the sea doesnt provide variety of foods. The hotel is quite far for Huahin city but closer to cha-am.
Nice hotel especially for family with kids. Also nice for honeymoon couples, where u can find nice and quite place with all facilities you need. The hotel has opened for many year and always keep maintance everything. I and my family had a very nice time at veranda resort and will revisit this hotel again soon.

Location, Decoration, Accomodation
I can't think of any so far.
Veranda is great for their decoration. The resort gives the feeling of resting at home; great for both family vacation, and lover's vacation.
The decoration is sooo nice and the room is so comfy. Surrroundings of Veranda is also splendid! I really love the pool and the bar by the sea.
I am really confident that I shall return to Veranda for my next vacation.

Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast is great but the room is quite dark and less light.
The car park area is so pack. In fact, the hotel already know that they will be pack during sat & sun but the way to solve the problem should be more safety. Security should not say that he use to serve even more expensive car than mine before with no problem. I understanding that my car is not so expensive but it's mine.
Overall is great, rooms are so clean and nice decoration, the service is so comfortable feel and family, the food are so nice and private beach is clean with a lot of fun activities. Only car park service needs to be more improve to support the number of guests which is important right now.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This is close to Royal palace teak wood and not quite far from Hua Hin city.

Standard room too small
Room logistics awful - try shaving or reading in bed!!
Not pushchair friendly
We stayed for 1 week. Weather good so not in room too much. It was a good job. Room way too small for a 4* hotel. Nowhere to store luggage or unpack clothes. Not ideally suited to small chidren as there was much lifting up and down stairs. Staff were helpful. Breakfasts excellent. Dinners so-so and quite expensive. Some good restaurants nearby and much cheaper. Loungers on beach very poor condition.
Restaurant Tip : Try local fish restaurant to left of hotel along seafront. Frequented by locals.

Like the hotel concept and surrounding. Well maintained property.
Find the service staffs are not very alert more towards day dream especially during breakfast time. During peak time as I arrived at approx. 12 noon, short of Front Office staffs. Phones were ringing, guest checking out & etc....notice only 1 or 2 staffs station in Front Office. A bit of let down on 1st visit and welcoming. Service should be better if the hotel claim itself as boutique hotel.
Nice property and impress with the surrounding esspecially the pool area set-up.

Peacefulness, beach location, staff, pool, food, jacuzzi
Fridge and fan needed attention.
Veranda Resort and Spa is one of the more attractive resorts on the beach between Cha-am and Hua Hin, well away from the hustle and bustle but within easy reach of restaurants, shops and the night market when trips away from the resort are required - by means of a free shuttle bus. There is a range of accommodation, all well-appointed, clean and attractive. We were in the building at the back of the resort, away from the beach, but had a large veranda with jacuzzi and view of the sea - privacy and comfort on hand. Huge beds, flat screen tv with good range of cable programmes, well-stocked bar and bathroom all made for a very luxurious stay, though the fridge wasn't working properly and the fan (preferred to air con at night) was rather noisy.
Buffet breakfast is lovely and staff were quick to notice that we prefer espresso machine coffee to jugs. By the end of our stay the machines were swapped round. There is a lovely pool with plenty of areas for different styles of user, good range of shade and sun and copious towels. Both restaurants serve excellent food, both western and thai and service is of exceptional standard.
There are plenty of activities for those who would like to try Thai crafts, exercise, trips out, an extremely long and safe beach and very friendly locals. Most people cope with English.

Hospitality and friendliness of hotel staffs
The room and pool area of the villa are a bit run down. The road signs leading to the hotel are not clear and easy to miss.
The Veranda pool side villa is overall a cozy and comfortable accommodation for those who love privicy and peaceful environment. However, the villa is one and a half story and is located on this ground floor. Therefore, you miss out the view of the ocean which I think it is a must for those who choose to stay at a seaside hotel. There should at least be a spot in the room where you can at least peak out and get a view of the ocean. We were impressed most by the hospitality and the friendliness of hotel staffs.
Nightlife Tip : There is a nice place just before Hua Hin called Plearnwan. It is a unique place for eat and drink as the decoration and set ups take you back to Thailand 30-40 years ago.

Our room was quite big and I loved the rain shower and the jacuzzi at the balcony. Breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful. Very nice pool.
The room is at the new building that a bit far from the sea. The hotel suites for a family with kids so it was noisy everywhere.
Restaurant Tip : Go to cha-am beach 2 - 3 Kms from the hotel you'll find cheap sea food there.

gym equipment is a bit rusty
Great pool area, with attractive area for drinks, food and reading. Lots of tasty choices at breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Quite difficult to locate sign from the main road. Fitness room equipment is old and a little rusty. Interesting and attractive design. Comfortable rooms, bathrooms feature bath tub. But shouldn't the resort name be spelt Verandah?

- Location is very good
- Swimming pool is clean and comfortable
- Customer Service
- Security
I like this hotel becoz of their interior design and location. There is the private beach, we can walk easily to the beach. But their service didn't impress me as much as other 4-5 star hotels did. After I checked in, There are a few times, some hotel staffs knock the door and in the late night time when we sleep we still see hotel staff walk around the garden near our room.

Swimming pool, sea food restaurant
Sunset not over the sea, not all sea view jacuzzi suites have sea view
Our stay at the veranda hotel was fantastic. The hotel is so beautiful and everything there is so perfect that we did not leave the hotel for the whole 5 days that we were there. The pool is great. There is a delicious sea food restaurant right next to the swimming pool. Breakfast is great with a huge choice of Asian and European cuisine and fruits. Rooms are very nicely designed. Great interior with elegant materials such as marble. Rooms have a DVD player. Only weak points. Our jacuzzi terrace did not have sea view, so we demanded another room which we got 2 nights later with a fantastic view. Jacuzzis could be cleaner, they are clean from the outside but not inside the nozzles which after some time produced a green foam on the water.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Horse riding and jetski are proposed at the beach. Both are worth it.

staff all spoke very good English and very helpful
shame that the jacuzzi rooms didn't have a bit more privacy and better view.
We arrived early evening from Bangkok so it was great that they had everything ready for us, even a little golf buggy to take us just across the road. The staff at the poolside restaurant were great as they accommodated with food that was not on the menu, due to dislike of seafood. The only slighty disappointing thing was that the balcony where the jacuzzi was looked straight out onto the hotel entrance and there were just 2 pullalong screens which did not give much privacy. Overall though a place to really chill out.
