- Prestige Thai architecture
- Service-minded staff
- Great food
- Grear place for re-energize your mind and body
- The slippers provided in-room were reused (so old and dirty) - but only minor issue
I spent only 1 night in deluxe room at Wora Bura with my family but the time there was very memorable for us. Its Thai-style architecture was stunning at first glance and bautiful in details. It is like staying in a royal palace decades ago. The room is of good size with full line of amenities. The staff was helpful. The location is a bit far from the city so it is not too crowded. The food was great. Cleary 5 stars from me. Highly recommend for every one.
Hotel Feature Tip : - Check weather before you book, it can be raining all day

rooms are big and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was nice. Plenty of sunbeds and pool great. Staff amazing, so friendly
pool and dinner menus very similar, not much vegetarian choice.
soaps etc were not replaced during stay and no hand towel rails in bathroom
This is a beautiful hotel in a some what dissapointing location as there is nothing really close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms nicely furnished and very big.

+ elegant and well maintained rooms
+ spacious swimming pool facing the sea
+ great restaurants with plenty to food to choose
+ fitness and spa in very good condition
+ small library also available
+ excellent personnel
+ great architecture and landscape
- none that is worth mentioning and that I am aware of
We had a short stay, just three days unfortunately. I am saying unfortunately because Wora Bura Resort & Spa proved to be worth our time and made our stay at Hua Hin pleasant and enjoyable. I have never before thought that I would like to spend so much of my time in a hotel while traveling. This one is so charming and accommodating that I found every single minute spent there enjoyable. The facilities and personnel of Wora Bura Resort & Spa have earned my highest recommendation. I would be happy to return there during my next visit to Hua Hin.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hua Hin Hills vineyard is a very interesting and non-typical place to visit. Although the wines are not spectacular, the whole atmosphere, the food in the restaurant, as well as the short tour one can take around the vineyard, are worth the bumpy road to the place.

relatively fewer choices on the menu for in-room dining, lesser rooms means fewer facilities
The moment i walked into my delux room, i knew my decision to choose this place was worth it. do check out the pictures, we loved the 60's styling of the rooms as well as of the resort, the detailing & facilities in the room were excellent, big and spacious, nice wooden lining to everything. collpsible bathroom partition gave it an even more spacious feeling.
Overall the service was good, the staff is warm and helpful, breakfast is reasonably good. it has only 77 rooms so obviously economies of scale are not there to justify more facilites, staff, etc but still its def worth the money. shuttle bus to town is limited so get your booking done accordingly(weekends i'm told are usually full), anyway plenty of taxi's or tuk tuks on demand and not too exp, location is about 5 kms from clock tower/night market so not too far, but if you were staying within walking distance you would save 300 bhat every day to n fro. overall i'd rate it as good and def worth the money spent.
Travel tip : Check out local open wagon taxi's that pick you up and drop you to and from city centre for only 10 bhat per person... all you have to do is wait on the main road and wave when these go past you.
... also when you visit the night market check out "Together" coffee shop.... lovely cozy place, very nice ambience, excellent service and great drinks too !!

Good setting, a welcome atmosphere in Thai environment, good rooms and facilties
Too much Western Food and western pop sixties Music, please look for a balance between Eastern and Western music to be in line witht the environment you are in.
We had a very nice stay of two days in the hotel after having spent 3 days in the hectic Bangkok area. Reception personnel was very pleasant and professional as well as the rest of the staff. The swimming pool is one of the best I have ever used and the location of it next to the beach gives you very nice panorama views. Security of the hotel is good and the gardens are well kept. The rooms we stayed in were also one of the best; ample space, good airco, minibar and excellent bathroom facilties. In short a hotel that we will come back to, if we are in Thailand.
Restaurant Tip : Serve more and elaborate Thai food not only pizza and pasta type meals, the terrace is beautifull and asks for better Thai meals.

Small, not factory-like, but with everything you need!
Lovely interior decoration, colonial style hotel. Absolutely great pool area, one of the biggest and nicest pools I've seen. Really big rooms, with lots of space. Very friendly and nice staff. Fitness room, kids' club, spa. Great, great breakfast. Well situated, outside Hua Hin, but not too far.
The things I disliked are not about the hotel, but the area/Hua Hin. Compared to other places in Thailand, Hua Hin beach is quite boring, with nothing happening on the beach - no bars, no restaurants.
This small hotel (77 rooms) has everything expected from a 5* hotel. The staff and service is great, the breakfast is absolutely excellent, with little extras on the buffet every day, and lots and lots to choose from. The pool area is great, one of the biggest and best pools I've seen. Comfy sun beds, and enough for everyone, two towels per person and day, and as soon as there was a rain shower that wet the towels, the staff came running with new ones! A little bit overpriced with food, and especially soft drinks in the bars, and the food in the restaurant is good, but not excellent. The pool bar is another source that needs improvement, no action, no good drinks, no happy hour (this was instead in the lobby bar 4 pm - 5 pm, but who sits at the lobby bar in the afternoon?). The rooms are huge, with nice balconies facing the garden/pool. We stayed in a superior room, so there were also bigger rooms, but we were 2 adults and 2 children, had 2 queen size beds, and this was more than enough for us. The bathroom is lovely too, with doors that can open up to the room, if you want to. Lovely interior design, colonial style, nice bathrobes and slippers, umbrellas and beach bag in the room. I can definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Hua Hin and Takiab Beach. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Hua Hin town, we never had problems to get seats. Taxi back is 5 minutes and 150 baht. The only downside is that there are few restaurants in the area, besides the hotel. And in Hua Hin you have to like Italian, which is the most they serve there. But Supatra on the sea, south Takiab by the mountain, has great food and lovely surroundings for dinner in the evening. On the way in to Hua Hin I can reccomend a restaurant called Roccia, with rooftop dining (Italian, great pasta!) in the moon light! The hotel is lovely and I warmly recommend it!

Nice bedroom and bathroom, LCD TV 32 inch, pool facing the sea.
Location and bad customer service.
Location sucks because it is far from anything (restaurants and shopping). All you can do is swimming and sunbathing (be good if you are recovering from hospital). There are two things that annoyed me when we stayed there. First, they didn't give us a double bed even though we told them we are a couple. The front desk officer then keep saying whether that is okay (I told her it is not okay) but because of lack of English, she couldn't say anything else apart keep saying whether it is okay repeatedly. Second, the hotel provides shuttle bus to the city from 5 to 10 pm. The bus can only accommodate 10 people. So you can imagine how packed it is around dinner time at 6 & 7 pm. So we were refused and was moved to 8 or 9 pm. By then we were already starving considering there is no near restaurant apart from the one in hotel. The other thing that was in my observation but not significant was the staff at breakfast. They don't like to serve coffee and tea. So most of the time, we have to self service or ask them. So it is not very 4 star-ish service at all.
Travel tip : If you decide to stay in this hotel, please keep in mind to book the shuttle bus for dinner time way early (like the night before) to avoid disappointment.

Rooms are very spacious and beautifully decoratd in Thai style. One of the best rooms we have found on or trips. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Shuttle service was quick and free. Location of hotel was near enough to get in easily whilst far enough away to get away from Hua Hin. Breakfast good.
In high season it could get very crowded in the hotel. Also there is building work going on around the hotel, but it did not bother us. The Italian restaurant is not great.
Overall we were very happy with the Wora Bura Hotel. The rooms were very spacious and well decorated. The grounds were also well kept and a good size. Its location is away from Hua Hin, which we found perfect. Hua Hin can be easily reached in five minutes by the hotel bus service (no return service, but 150 baht by tuk tuk). The hotel food was mixed. The breakfast was a good buffet, lunch around the pool was okay, but the Italian restaurant was below standards. However, this was fine as there are a couple of restaurants nearby that are very good. Lets Sea restaurant is 30 seconds away and great. The staff were very helpful and polite.
Also, I have read that people do not like the beach, but we found it fine. Very nice to stroll along and beach massages nearby if you want.
Overall very much recommended. However, we went out of season in July, and I do believe this hotel would become a little crowded in full season and that might be a problem.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Monkey Mountain - good and free (but you need to like monkeys). Kao Talu - private owned island - you can stay overnight - it is a real treat to stay. Lets sea and Supatra by Sea - restaurants.

Away from the main shopping/bar strip of Hua Hin, Wors Bura is nestled along a quiet road and runs straight to a beautiful beach. Blessed with wonderful East meets West architecture, entering Wora Bura is like stepping back in time.
The curved, large pool is the centrepiece of this resort and swimming in it and gazing out to the sea will remain an enduring memory.
Staffing levels were high even around the pool and pool restaurant, and one never wanted for anything.
I am being a little critical when I mention TV here but to me, it is an important feature, as is internet. Wora Bora has Italian, German, French, Japanese, Korean and BBC, but no Australia Channel.
Australia Channel is similar to BBC but has Australian sport featured (AFL and, if you must, rugby). It is a free-to-air channel throughout the Asia Pacific region and for a top resort not to have it is careless.
Management please also note, that internet is no longer a luxury; it is important to most travellers as a tv. Charges of 450 baht per 24 hours with no provision for a weekly charge, is excessive and smacks of greed.
Room sound-proofing was not good, and furniture being moved from place to place upstairs could be heard clearly and conversations from adjoining rooms was audible too; I am not sure what can be done to fix this problem now though. Thank goodness the gentlemen who arrived home at 3am were not of the boisterous kind!
Wora Bura is a top resort; is has charm, ambiance and wonderful staff. it also has a wonderful location. Go here for a trip to unwind and where your every whim is catered for. But, ask for a room with no neighbours either side!
Hotel Feature Tip : If you can afford it, ask for a separate pool view house. That way, you get a great view and, most importantly, no neighbours's nocturnal conversations.
