Exclusive resort with great swimming pool and pool bar
Beach not suitable for swimming as there are alot of jelly fish. No bathtub
We spent 2 nights at the resort which is 3 hours drive from Bangkok. Maybe becos the place is new (opened only 1 year ago), it wasnt crowded and the pool was very exclusive so we spent most of our time at the pool! There was a promotion so we had a free upgrade to a seaview deluxe room. The buffet breakfast was great with a salad/cereal/fruits bar and the kitchen will cook hot selections upon your order. 15 minutes drive from the town center so we took a cab to town every night for dinner and shopping. Overall a very romantic exclusive getaway from city life.
Hotel Feature Tip : Lots of jellyfish at the beach so be careful!

- nice and good quality for spa treatment
- spa price is quite expensive. Higher than some 5 stars in Phuket
- The entrance to the hotel from the main road is quite dark, difficult to notice on the night time.
- breakfast and other meal is so so.
- hotel staff is quite well train... proper to serve, hearty smile not fake
- like a soap, smell good but shower gel is not so good smell.

Wonderful staff, great design, right next to the beach, lovely swimming-pool, quiet location
My girlfriend and I just spent 4 fantastic days at the Yaiya resort. This is one of the best hotels that I have stayed at, and the wonderful staff at the hotel really made it a special holiday.
The hotel is family owned - and you can tell. Every little detail has been thought out, and the resort has a very homely feel.
The rooms are very spacious and are fitted with very high quality appliances and furnishings. The swimming-pool is great - it even contains stools next to the bar - and the beach is only a few steps away.
I can't recommend Yaiya enough and I will be returning as soon as possible!
Restaurant Tip : Try the homemade ice-cream - delicious
