Good value for money with Riverview rooms.
Some rooms have noisy AC systems.
Rather basic breakfast.
Approx half way between Bangkok and Chiang Rai. This is a convenient stop over hotel for those driving with family or friends. Plenty of free parking across road from hotel. The Ping river is 100 mts from hotel and has very busy market along the river road during festivals. No hestitation recommending this hotel for short stays, but not suitable for longer periods.

We had been staying in 2 star hotels so anything better was a premium. Close to the centre of the city. Good service & reception.
Rooms could have been a bit cleaner (less dust & grime)
Good location, very Thai based i.e. not set up to offer advise to westerners (probably able to to but not a priority although many guests were westerners). Good Thai breakfast, rice soup. They were very flexible allowing us to take our bikes to our rooms ( as we were riding from Bangkok to Chiang Mai). The manager who met us when we arrived was very supportive & friendly.
Travel tip : Great cheap road bike shop close by e.g Road bike team tops for Baht750!!!

Front rooms face the river, good view, reasonable room, good breakfast and menu for evening meal and lunch Friendly staff.
Hotel a little old and dated, bathroom fittings falling off the wall.
I have now stayed at the hotel on two occassions, the hotel is value for money, reasonable standard , room maintenace couyld be improved especially the bathrooms. The lcation of the hotel is good outlook overlooking the park and river was very pleasant. Breakfast was good and a reasonable standard. The hotel represents valu for money. I would recommend the hotel.
