good value hotel in quiet town

Medium size hotel with boutique decoration on facade. Room interior is rather plain but clean. Good location with nearby island park in the river. Chinese shrine next to the hotel.

There is a night market next to the holtel. It is located conveniently at the heart of the town.

Too many earwigs and no hot warer

The hotel entrance somewhat gives clean and good impression but the rooms are not well maintained as there were too many earwigs in the room. I counted more than 10, definitely no good for young children.
No hot water was available and when I informed this to reception, one staff came in and opened water taps for full speed and told me to wait for five minutes. After wasting thousands of gallons of water, I just turned the taps off. They just have no hot water and I didn't feel good about having to waste so much water. Perhaps this is why there are so many earwigs in the hotel rooms as it made bath room too damp. Anyway the bathroom was nor clean or safe enough to give your kids shower.
I will skip this resort next time. But hotel really should do something about their central hot water heating system.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try the restaurant even if you are not staying there. It has English menu and surprisingly good.

Hotel vieux et mal entretenu avec literie typiquement thaï (matelas horriblement dur). très mauvaise qualité en générale et sale. Il y a bien mieux de l'autre côté du fleuve et pour beaucoup moins cher, mais pas référencé chez Agoda
