Great staff, original design

The owner and his help are extremely sweet, they helped us a lot: where to dine (excellent advice), they lent us an old motocycle (for free, even gas), they were discret and efficient.
The design of the hotel is really original, but we were in the dry season (april) and the surrondings were not as green unfortunately. The swimming poold is nice, and it's just in front of the river.
We went to their place by redcab (80 bahts for 2) but they told us they could have picked us up. And indeed they accompanied us back to the bus station.
To note, it is not downtown, but with the motocycle that was not a problem.
Good stay, good adress.

Quirky rooms and beautiful setting

a very quirky hotel with strange rooms full of bizarre objects. we loved it! perhaps not for everyone, but it is very soulful and fun. kids really enjoyed all the toys and visual stimulation. the best thing about the hotel is the setting. it is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful, with a swimming pool by the river and lots of greenery.

On the whole we had a nice stay. the place is well kept with lots of space. shame some big trees have been cut down and we were surprised to know that our kids were not allowed go around with their scooters. could not see eye to eye with the reason

Wonderful view over the Ping river

To start with the positive sides: the view of the Ping river is - particularly in the early morning - very alluring. The swimming pool is not big but very well maintained, and the girl who seemed to be doing most of the work was very helpful and friendly.
Other than that: it is indeed a hotel with a certain 'concept': each room is in as separate little whitewashed house sprawled out over a garden with some beautiful trees. There are ponies (not sure what they're doing there - they may be part of the 'concept') and a colony of midget chickens.
On the inside, we noticed that our room could do with a lick of paint. There was also only one window that could be opened. And the room was full of bric-a-brac, as if we were staying (uneasily) in a yound girl's room that had been untouched for 20 years. The bed was also not great: the mattress was too small for the frame, and there was a plastic (!) sheet under the cover on my side. Maybe the little girl who lived here still peed in the bed?
If this is the best hotel in Kamphaeng Phet, then it must be for lack of competition.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The historical park of Kamphaeng Phet was a big surprise: it is more impressive even than Sukhotai - also because of the fact that many ruins are spread over a large wooded area covered with fallen leaves, so you got a mixed impression of autumn and of the inevitable fall of reat civilisations..

Very scenic as its name

The cottage was beautifully decorated and clean. The resort itself is a small one but with big trees and chickens walking around in the lawn which make it very attractive. The hotel receptionist was very helpful.
