Reasonably nice room. Pleasent surroundings.

WAY TOO FAR OUT OF KANCANABURIE TOWNSHIP !!!!!! Advertised as if in Kanchanaburie. The hotel wanted to charge 500 baht one way to take us to the township.(I did go one to the township to change hotels !) The hotel also charges 2500 baht to go for a day tour (private car) to Hellfire Pass and the Tiger Temple. From the township the same tour is 1500. So another words you are paying a lot more to do things than you would by staying close to town. This place is at least 25k's outside the township.

If you want to be lazy and stay beside the pool and read a book, than this place is for you. But if you want to get out and about an d check out the township and have the option of walking to places such as the Allied War cemetary, then I strongly suggest that you stay in town.

Only there is a beautiful garden which is very well maintained but they should better maintain the hotel.

Very old and dirty hotel with staff who does not speak english and don't understand what you want or maybe does not want to understand what you want. This is a hotel where a lot of congresses and seminars are bizzy during the day with the fact that in the evening you have also a lot of noise.

Very bad hotel, very bad breakfast as well. Nobody understand you and don't want to understand you. The hotel is really dirty and very old. a lot of thai people are there but almost no foreigners. Plus the fact that the hotel is very far from everything, at least 30 minutes drive from any interesting place.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Erawan waterfalls and the dam is worth seeing.

Excellent pricing and good service. Good clean rooms and good grounds

A little far 25 Km from the town but fine if you have transport. Very few people staying, fine for me but maybe not for others.

Good place to stay, on a par with other resorts I have stayed at on the Kwai. Seemed very quiet in regards to customers maybe 14 including our 6. I would stay there again as I have my own car but this is not so different from a lot of other places through out the Kwai. Value for money is very good as is breakfast and meals.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : hire a car or driver with car
