Tranquil, serene and very charming.

No air-con or fans due to no electricity. Can get very hot at night. Would be good if had wind powered fans coming through roof.

We stayed for 2 nights end of August 2009. The service is very good and the accomodation very clean and basic, no complaints here. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend, but not to those that are used to hotel standards. The location is beautiful and we liked the fact there was no electricity as it gave a very natural feeling. Lanterns are provided throughout at night that give off a very nice light and ambiance. Only draw back, it got very hot at night which made it difficult to sleep. This would be a nightmare in summer or with young children. Would go back.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit the Mon village and Monks cave, walking distance from lodges. Also try the water bobbing off the lodges. Looks scary but life jacket are provided and it's quite safe. 2 days stay is enough as you will run out of things to do.

gorgeous scenery, friendly staff, beautiful decor, this trip was the highlight of our month in thailand.

linen a little musty, toilet a bit whiffy, dinner a bit repetative. as a vegetarian i was given rice with two types of vegetable dishes each night, good for the wasteline, but a little boring!

STAY HERE!! beautiful surroundings, breathtaking scenery, lovely staff, spent our days reading in the sun and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED jumping in the river and letting the current take us away. stayed 3nights and it was the perfect amount, very relaxing.the dinner is ok, rice with an assortment of meat dishes followed by watermelon and pineapple but after 3 nights it got boring. TAKE SNACKS, theres no shop so be sure to take sncks for in between meals. also mosquito spray is a must.

staff is very service minded romantique atmosfere very nice location all furniture en floors is wood from the jungle

bigger flashlights, there is no electricity only oil lamps prices incl. transport a little bit too high

This hotel is a floating hotel with very nice rooms and furniture. There is no electricity, only oil lamps but this is very romantique. In the evening there is a performance of Moon dances. The Moon hill tribe manage this floatel with great enthousiasme. we have visited this floatel already many times but every time we do it with great pleasure because of the quiet surrounding. You feel at home at the moment you arrive with the long tail boat. Everyting is well organised.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : visit the Moonvillage next to the hotel canoeing swimming
