A brand new hotel (2007) blends classical Thai design with modern touches and surrounds a natural lagoon and tropical garden. The private villas facing the pristine beach include a veranda and are the height of luxury. All the rooms are good sized with LCD television monitors and are splashed with bold strokes of color. Two pools, a spa, beach volleyball, two nearby golf courses and, for us relaxed visitors, a beach massage compliment the day. Take an eco friendly rainforest tour, go scuba diving to see gorgeous coral and ravishing fish, or take a thrilling elephant trek. The hotel is ten minutes to town allowing you to enjoy serenity in this peaceful part of paradise.

Special PromotionConstruction of a new building at the Khao Lak Emerald will be completed by July 31, 2008 and buildings 1, 2, and three will be closed from now until September 30, 2008. All other facilities will be available as usual.
1. Booking for Superior room is guaranteed to be upgraded to Deluxe room (Building No.4 and 5, Ocean Front).
2. Booking for Deluxe room (Ocean Front Building) will be upgraded to Thai Villa (subject to availabilities).

Pos = very nice pool area for young children near the ocean and beach. There is an inside and outsida playground for kids, nice! Restaurangtips ga en promanad langs stranden at vanster i 20 minuter poseidon restaurang pa ett berg. Mycket god mat!

Cons = not very good buffe for 200 bath expensive drink not included in the buffe, the staff didnt tell us that there is one more pool in the hotel area = 3 pools with kid areas!

It was a really nice hotel with good pool area and near the beach, it is perfect if you have children or if it is just you and your husband. Good buffet but expensive.

Bad service from the hotel staff when you need help with rebooking your flight.

I should come back, but I will definitely bring my children to this place.

New hotel, clean, close to the beach, European breakfast

Expensive, staff not very organised

Nice hotel if you can get a discount through agoda otherwise you won't have value for your money. Pro's: new hotel and clean rooms. You need to take a taxi to the nearest town
