Private Beach not far from Khaolak town,big room & sea view

The beach was so wonderful,should to take longer holiday minimum 2nights beacause there are very nice place for holiday and good hotel too.next time i will stay longer

Nightlife Tip : good to walk in khaoLak city because not too busy in the town and should try for dinner in Somsri's restaurant, nice food

quiet, beach front

far from town

it's my 2nd stay in the hotel, it gives me very good impression. All staff are friendly and helpful. It is at beach front that you can only wear your swimwear everyday, walk from your room and jump into the sea. It is so relax to stay there. But there is only 1 restaurant in the hotel and 1 bar at the beach. You have to take taxi to the town for more choices of food.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It is close to the pier going to Similan Islands. It's better to stay overnight on the islands to enjoy the beautiful environment there.

beach front, all rooms facing the sea, good services, quiet

toilet facilities need to improve, not close to the town, no internet service in room.

I really enjoy the time in Khao Lak Sunset Resort. The room is large and clean. There is seaview and balcony even I stay in Superior Room. It is at beach front with lots of beach chair. All the staff are very nice. Breakfast is so so, dinner is delicious and not too expensive. It takes around 30mins to walk to the town or takes 3mins by "taxi" for 100 THB. There is only 1 computer at the reception to use.

Quiet location, great beach and pool, terrific breakfast buffet, wonderful massages in a cabana on the beach

No wi-fi and only one slow computer, rooms a little tattered, a little feeling of disrepair

We returned to this German oriented hotel after our dive safari because it's a good value in a nice location, with adequate large rooms. Since it's a little out of town (although a pleasant half hour beach walk each way), we found that a very inexepensive rented motorbike made it very convenient to get around and yet be in a quiet place. Good service and food, although the restaurant doesn't seem to get any business at dinner. The on location masseurs varied from great to adequate for $10/hr.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This a dive trip town, and we really enjoyed our four day safari with Similan Diving Safaris. Plan to spend at least a night if you go up to Kao Sok park.

Proximity to beautiful beach. All rooms sea view. Excellent service. restaurant right on beach. Attractive rate.

A bit isolated from tourist center of restaurants & shopping No info on direct minibus service to krabi

This hotel is a gem - perfect for honeymooners or anyone else seeking a quiet getaway from massage parlors & souvenir hawkers. The beach is one of the most beautiful we have ever encountered, & is located a few meters from the hotel. All rooms have a magnificent view of the andaman sea facing west (yes, that's where the sun sets)

Nice beach front. All rooms have a sea view. Situated right at the beach. Cheap compared to other places in the area

3 km from shops in the near village. Taxis are a bit of a hassle.

We had a pleasant stay in the hotel. Friendly reception. Well kept place, clean, nice garden, pool, balconies. Mixed thai-western menu. We enjoyed a very quiet hotel and beach (first half of november). Sea is perfect for swimming with moderate tidal changes and hardly any currents. Not much for snorkeling however. Friendly beach bar is good for stunning sunsets.

Hotel Feature Tip : Ask for a room high and to the north side of the hotel for the best sunsets.

Giant bed, very well appointed room, helpful staff, sunset views, peace and quiet, beachside dining, sea view from room, direct beach access.

58 steps up to our room and we weren't on the top floor! A bath would have been nice. Instead of needing air con most of the time we would have liked the option of sliding screen doors to our balcony and a ceiling fan. One kilometre from town - but this can be a plus too.

We had a lovely stay here. The hotel is located at the end of the beach so it is nice and private without much passing "people traffic". Plenty of sunbeds provided on the beach and by the pool. Pool (like most in Khao Lak) was a little one. Teriffic bed - at least 7 feet wide. Great view of sea from room and balcony. A lovely quiet oasis. Maybe a bit far from town (1km) but that can be an advantage too - no noisy bars or nightspots. Most guests were northern Europeans and were queit couples or family groups. Very good buffet breakfast and good other meals that were available all day. Last orders 1030pm.

Travel tip : It may be worth negotiating the price of the taxi fare from Phuket airport. 1500B was the first offer, then 1400, then 1300. Finally they accepted my offer of 1200B. On the way back from Khao Lak, we couldn't find anything lower than 1300B.

Friendly staff, nice room i think all of them have seaview, great view, great breafest, clean beach, coffemaker in the room, excellent taxi service.

Its build against a hill, you need to walk up some stairs

We have been about two weeks over there and really enjoyed our stay, i would not mind staying there for some more weeks ;-) The village is a place where wining and dining is very pleasant. The sea is clear and bright. If you like to go for snorkling of diving, thats realy easy to do so. There are also many trips i the beautifull surrounding nature.

Restaurant Tip : there are a lot of very good restaurants

Not in the center of Khao-Lak. A 20-minute walk or a taxi ride for going downtown.

Views in a private beach close to good restaurants AROI And a courteous staff, very good advice and help.

Hotel stay from Sun set, the principle of service we received an impressive degree of the disposition of the horse people are not even equivalent to five star hotels, but all are impressive.A warm welcome and advice to assist in introducing Attractions The hotel has beautiful views and a private beach and close to markets and delicious restaurants.
