Friendly Staff, clean rooms, nice quiet hotel (we went during low season), the direct access to the beach and full buffet breakfast! We stayed at the Briza at Khao Lak for 5 days. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. its a bit out of town, but there isn't much to do in town. We went there for a haircut and to see some kick boxing. The resort has everything you'd need, the chef there is very good as well! Its a resort for people looking for a quiet getaway rather than a rowdy party holiday. The staff were very helpful and would assist in any way possible for anything you would need. The first room had a faulty air conditioner, so they promptly made up another room for us to stay in. Great time, no complaints!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Similan Islands are closed during low season only opening from Oct 1. Also, if you want to do white water rafting or Island tours, they are cheaper from Phuket as we needed a dedicated taxi driver to pick us up from Khao Lak because its not as busy as Patong/Phuket.

(2)The hotel is just right next to the sea which serves the entire purpose of the visit
(3)The market & the restaurants are just around the corner

(2)The Restaurant at the hotel could improve a bit and also to change the menu once in a while The Briza Resort experience was a very nice and relaxing experience for me and my Fiancee far away from the hustle and bustle life of Bangkok.It follows the cardinal rule of every small place-Early to Bed & Early to Rise.This was a very good impact on both of us as after the second day as our cheeks were glowing and we were feeling much fresh & healthy with the very healthy & very fresh breakfast(I miss the wateemelons & the papayas they serve at Breakfast).Also another startling discovery is that almost (almost evryone at the hotels & restaurants) seem to know German and some of them could even converse a bit.The menus ,the welcome notes at the hotels....they were in German.My Fiancee felt very much at home (he is from Germany )
Hoping that both of us will be at Briza next year and hoping to see all the staffs who were very helpful during our stay.Thanks!

good for families, nice pool site and rooms, at the end of the beach. sometimes the toilette smelled very bad, we didn´t like that we booked a double bed and got two single bed. We liked very much the arrangement of the garden and pool area. The breakfast buffet was ok. The pool has got a nice size and is clean. The rooms in the basement has got a very nice balcony and possibility to sit outside. The beach is clean and has got a lot of possibilities to go for lunch and dinner. In the lobby you has got the possibility to use the internet.
We didn´t like the aircon in the rooms. It was too loud and the air has been blowed in any position directly on your bed. When you wanted to sleep with an open door, the staff started to work and prepare breakfast at approximately 6.00am and very loud, so you could not sleep.
