Great Hotel. Amazing Beachfront

This is a great hotel for a relaxing get aways. You'll have to take a 10 mins ferry to get on the island. Beachfront is amazing. Sound of the waves are amazing. Rooms are nice and clean but need some maintenance/facelift here and there. Water pressure in the shower needs a bit improvement though. It's a bit soft.

We enjoyed our two nights stay in the hotel, which is ideal for taking a break when traveling around the country with a family group. The staff was friendly, although we had a bad experience with the bartenders in the beach/swim pool area. The breakfast was plenty and with variety. A very calm and not crouded beach is at walking distance. We recommend this hotel to family groups and couples in their honeymoon.

We were offered Private Single Villa Pool Access at the Kib because our room booked at another resort in Khao Lac had a sudden technical problem. A few days at the resort in an island is ok with private beach and some swimming pools. But longer stay will be a problem for us as there is not much to do, restaurant options in the island are. Limited and the breakfast is so boring, not at all at 4 star hotel level. The rom rate at more than usd 200 for the villa is pricy.
The staff is friendly though.
The gardens need much better care. There is very little green in the resort.
Restaurant Tip:
The Sunset Virgin beach and restaurant about 16km from The Kib is worth a visit. Many tourists hire motobikes to go here

Everything was fantastic, with only two minor exceptions:
1. The beach bar kept playing relatively loud music which could be heard on the beach as well as by the swimming pool. We asked the bar staff several times to turn it off, without avail. The beach and the pool are places to completely switch off and relax, not to listen to Thai versions of English pop songs.
2. Internet (wifi) is available only at the reception, and is slow or sometimes not working at all.

It was our first time there in that hotel style resort.! But we loved it the stuff were very nice and helpful whatever we need it's like away, good viwe, service was wonderful and good location. Next trip if we there we will think about this resort and I hope they doing well in that area overall everything was great.!

Perfect "hide away"

our stay was "offseason" so they gave us free uppgrade to pool acces villa which was great.
room and bathroom were big, clean and cosy. pool and gardenarea was really nice.
because of season hotel surroundings were not yet in best shape and facilities were pretty much shut down. ( no spa, other pool area was out of order, some parts of area were bit untidy).
beach is endless and quiet. october there´s no tourists at all.
if you need action dont go there. for "book reading" there´s no better place.
hotel staff was friendly, especially breakfast waitress. breakfast itself was bit pooring after 3 weeks.
we enjoyed our stay very much and i´m sure we will be back.
Restaurant Tip:
"Chili" restaurant at pier, if you like thai food. Best panang curry ever!
"sunny beach" next to hotel, nice place too.
