Impressive,almost palatial foyer.Hotel has a nightclub,snooker room and karaoke bar.Has a swimming pool and is well located for bars,restaurants and markets.Rooms comfortable. Hotel pool,with its icy water falls into shade by midday as the sun moves behind the high rise part of the hotel.Breakfasts are fine for most tourists,but were a big turn off for Thai guests.Several Thai girlfriends boycotted breakfasts because of the limited choice for them A most impressive building.Staff were immaculate in uniform and were efficient.It would be possible to have a good evening's entertainment on site,but on my last visit the nightclub was closed.Rooms are comfortable.The hotel has a shuttle bus service to the nearby airport and was able to inform me that my flight was delayed,so that I was able to get a later bus and not hang around at the airport.The breakfasts are fine for tourists,rather than Thais.The swimming pool is disastrously placed in the shadow of the main building for much of the day.

Excellent Location; near to Modern Shopping Mall; Supermarket; Restaurants; Bars; Market etc
Swift and helpful Reception Service. Very Large Lounge Area downstairs; with TV; Internet; Newspapers.
Very Good Room Service; room cleaning; nice large, bright room with all the essentials. Nice to have had ice in the fridge, a good surprise for my 'duty free'!
Comfortable stay and great atmosphere, will go there again. Could have done with Iron & Ironing board for my clothes; but did not have this service in housekeeping!
Internet service above the going rate, price-wise. This a a very Large, spacious and well maintained Hotel. Well organised and helpful Staff. I was able to arrange transport to receive me from the Airport with my Partner and to return.
Arranged Car rental for me, very easy,reasonably priced and convenient.
Room Service was very good quality of food and large amount.
Loved the Dining Room, huge and bright with the morning sun. Excellent breakfast menu, a wide range of food, ranging from American/Continental/Thai, and healthy eating too.
All Hotel Staff were in Nice Uniform, well groomed, polite and friendly.
All this made my first trip to K.K a very pleasant and enjoyable one.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The annual November-December Fair was on, and it was a huge event, well worth going a few nights.
Large Market nearby, with local food, hot meals and a range of goods.

The hotel rooms has good city view . beautiful at night . Service is good . The breakfast is almost the same variety everyday . Through still some difference but .... Food is ok though . I like this hotel for the price i pay and the convenience i get . The hotel is near to shopping areas and also eating areas . It is also near to the IT shopping . There are also good food around the hotel . The massage down the road is also good . ( worth trying ) especially when u are tired . I have been staying in this hotel every time i am there . I mean it is not the best hotel in town but it is value for money in terms of being in town .
Shopping Tip : it is near to the IT shopping in Khon Kaen .

Good and convenient location. Hotel is getting old, needs touch ups. It is not a bad hotel over all,but can improve a lot without spending any money ,especially the service. They seem to have enough staff, but they are not willing to give a hand until you ask.
There is a lack of anticipation.

Great restaurant and great staff I could find no weakness except the elevators were slow The hotel was very clean and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. The staff could not be more helpful or courtious and always had a smile on their face. The location was perfect and had great access for all the things I wanted to do. I would gladly stay there again.

Hotel is old and is in need of maintenance and a renovation Good hotel in a good location in town. However this hotel has been in service for quite a number of years and is due for a serious renovation and upgrade of the guest rooms to make it more attractive. The internet facility that is provided is too expensive and does not funkting well. The bath rooms are too old in design. The overall impression, too old for the time we are living in and need an upgrade.

Good staff communication in English and seemed well trained and friendly. Food good. Reception area nice to chat and meet people.
Room linen was clean enough. The decoration of my room was long overdue, By about 5 years I would think. 300 baht of paint would have given the room a major improvement. Some attempts to paint dirty areas were evident, but really the standard for this price was poor.
Overall standard of staff was high, they seemed mostly to want to help.. Needs some money spent on decorations of room and perhaps some new bathroom fittings.
For that reason not very good value for Khon Kaen I felt.
Travel tip : Nothing really, only there two nights

Breakfast quite good, but service a bit slow, could be from too many guests.

clouded elevator. Long time waiting to ride on each time. My group stayed at this hotel for 3rd times in this 2009., and presume will continue to stay on each visit to Khonkaen. Hotel location is convenient, quite easy to get in and out. Foods are good, although service sometimes slow. Receptions were well trained. Rooms were cleaned and up to expectation. I shall receommend any friend if they visit to Khonkaen.

Entrance not easy to find. Mold in the bathroom. Uncomfortable pillows. The Charoen Thani Princess Hotel is in serious need of a renovation. The hotel is old and tired. Mold in the bathroom. There is also a 2 step into the bathroom that is very inconvenient and both my wife and I almost tripped twice. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Bed was okay but the pillows were very uncomfortable. Lots of television channels to choose from. Breakfast buffet is not that good.

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of khon koen The hotel is dated with old decor,facilities are fairly old ,the pool is missing tiles T he hotel is centrally located to all areas of the central business district.the staff were pleasant and helpful buut the hotel is a little bit dated and needs a facelift .
The breakfast was quite good .
The bed was uncomfortable and limited tv channels in english.
Some good restaurants nearby and some good shopping also nearby.The gym was ok ,but a small area meant if more than 3 people using the area you could not use a machine.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : dinasoar exhibit about 1 hours drive

All round a well run hotel with friendly, smiling, and very helpful staff. The rooms were excellent and very well furnished with a good view over the city. The breakfast was good with plenty of selection. Altogether a very enjoyable stay.

Friendly staff, central location in Khon Kaen, the breakfast buffet is adequate and serves everyone's taste The hotel is past its prime, it is not very modern anymore. The network extension in the rooms don't work, so you should use an expensive (2 hours for 75 TBH) wireless option or use the internet option in the lobby (50 TBH per hour) Fitness equipment is out of date and must be maintaned better. It is a nice hotel but past its prime. Some modernization (especially fitness equipment should be undertaken to keep the hotel in its position of one of the best hotels of Khon Kaen. We stayed for 10 days (first 2 days in a de Luxe room which was upgraded to a junior suite at no expense; which was a nice gesture of the hotel; the other days in a corner room). I think the hotel is now still value for money, but this could change over the next years.
