In khon Kaen itself there is nothing really to do, we were visiting a village 1 1/2 hours away so you may want to bear this in mind.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't eat the food at the poolside, it made us a little sick!

There is the musuem that you can visit, the sports bar next to the Kosa is very cheap (about £2) for a bottle of whiskey.

You really can't find a better located hotel in town - if it is your first visit to Khon it is a good choice. However you can get comparable standard hotels for a better price within about 10 minutes walk.
Restaurant Tip : Don't eat at the hotel. There are several dozen excellent choices within a few hundred metres of the hotel.

Staff are a wealth of knowledge on the sites in KK if you are a first time visitor.
Hotel Feature Tip : Kosa beergarden nextdoor to hotel is a great place to waste a few hours watching the foot traffic.

At night, sometimes very loud. Beer garden with music. 1.Problem the pool. There are too little sun. The benches (plastic) are broken. The toys for the children dangerously broken. Big risk of injury. In Germany, the pool is closed 2. Problem is the breakfast. Many Europeans do not like for breakfast Thai food. Then there is only sausage, ham and fried eggs (just lukewarm). Food is only to claim refilled.
Shopping Tip : One must search for quality and cost in Thailand as well.

The atmosphere of calm, the rooms are good A large outdoor air conditioning equipment room of the building, the sound of noisy Khon Kaen is located in the heart of the city, and many here as a base to go to the location is very good.
