Aiyapura is located on forty acres of beachfront at Klongson Bay.

Oriental Villa Varous designs are provied for all Oriental Villas. There are 12 villas in all, each having a king size bed with complete in room facilities and amenities. Spacious and comfortable bathrooms complete the villas, some with Jacuzzi and some with full length bath tub with separate shower units. The location provides a perfect birdseye view of Klongson Bay with expansive open terrace suitable for small group gatherings. Size: 45 sq m.
Deluxe Room Octagon shaped duplex bangalows make up the Deluxe Rooms. All are equipped with complete in room facilities and amenities, a comfortably large bathroom with full length bathtub with hot and cold running water and separate outdoor shower. Room size: 43 sq m.	Superior Room There are 19 superior rooms designed for maximun comfort and space all with private a balcony and with complete in-room facilities and amenities. The bedroom are comfortable abd large with bathtub and hot and cold water. Four rooms are located in front of the beach and the other 15 are situated near the lobby wih good views of Klongson Bay. Room size: 36 sq m.

Everything about the resort was as per the web site. The staff were very friendly. The welcome drinks and fruit basket were very welcome after a 3 1/2 hour drive from Pattaya. Although I did not use the following, Mountain bikes, sea bikes and kayaks were available for free. Also a free shuttle service is available to and from White Sand beach. In all an excellent resort which I can thoroughly recommend.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you do not have your own transport, motorcycles and quads are available for hire.

The hotel was even more lovely than the pictures on the internet. We enjoyed the natural beauty of the hotel and appreciated the fact it was not over-built. The spa was amazing.

The singer at dinner was a bit flat and pretty much sang the same songs every night. Too many mosquitoes in the evening but what can you do about that?

It is always a bit nerve wracking to pick a hotel just from pictures on the internet (ie. we ended up in a basement room on a lovely Greek island once) and reading reviews. But I read so many positive reviews about Aiyapura that I decided to believe them and book 4 nights there. The Aiyapura experience exceeded our excpectations. We decided to try a spa package, which though a bit pricey, we highly recommend. Spending 4 hours getting scrubbed, wrapped and massaged was absolutely heavenly. We took the complimentary kayaks out for the day, went to the little island in the bay and snorkeled around it. There also is great shell hunting when the tide is out in the bay. We would love to return again some day if we can.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We did a day snorkeling from an outfit we found in White Sands. If you like to snorkel the coral/fish are amazing.

When I first got to the resort I was impressed with how nicely the grounds were kept. The welcome was great, we had a drink while we were checking in. The room was in very good condition. The hotel location is far out of town on Koh Chang, which was nice. They even had boats for us to take out on the bay.

Journey from Bangkok to Trat by car about 4 1/2 hours (approx. 315 kms). Then turn right to Amphur Laem Ngop aim to translink Ferry to Koh-Chang. There are 3 Piers : Ferry Koh Chang (Ao Thammachat),Center Point Pier and Krom Luang Chumporn Pier (Koh Chang Ferry). It takes about 30 minutes to Koh-Chang (Chang Island).
