Location is very isolated from the rest of the Island. Great pool, restaurant and staff. Helpful concierge.Huge room great view of the Sea.

Bathrooms were a bit rustic. could be cleaner or retiled.

Was just what we were looking for very quite, and far from the Bagpackers that have taken over the rest of the Island. The staff at the hotel could not have been nicer. we were welcomed like royalty. There are tour options for the rest of the Island, elephant treking and a weird tour by car. See the waterfall.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the elephant ride and bring your camera

very large rooms, close to the sea, special offer on spa treatments, free use of some water sport facilities (kayak / pedalos. Breakfast very good!

A bit impersonal, restaurant over prices, no return transfer from white sand beach but taxis easy to come by. only a very small beach area. Swimming pool is quite small.

Very nice resort but a bit impersonal due to its size. The spa was lovely but without the 2 for 1 offer wouold be very expensive. Nice location but a bit removed from white sand and nowhere that nice to have a couple of drinks as the alcohol prices are extremely high. Nice surrounds with lots of peacocks wandering about.

Great service and rooms Nice property Mountain bikes free of charge

No shuttles in the evening to White Sand beach (maybe only because of low season)

Very nice beach front property in a quite area – e.g. nice location to relax from any daily headaches. Very clean rooms and really 5 star service. The food has a very high standard and the personal is well trained. The spa is worth a visit and it will be a very good experience.

Isolated - tranquility - spacious - tropical garden on pristine bay

costly for food and drinks

Great place to take someone special to enjoy the tropical garden with peacocks on an isolated bay for free kayaking.

Hotel Feature Tip : rent a motobike to enjoy the island, outside restraunts and going to Seven/eleven

Friendly staff - very quiet Guest Rating: 9

we had a wonderful room facing the beach nice pool area breakfast buffett has made to order meals included

free transport into town ends before dinner time no artwork in rooms - not sure where it went

We were here in low season and only 8 of the 84 rooms were occupied. The Agoda rate was very special. It is really by itself. The beach area is protected and clean, but small. Would be a great place for kids because of the isolation and security. Restaurant is a bit expensive vs. other places in White Beach. The ride from the ferry terminal to here is short, but the roads into town are a real challenge especially on a motorbike at night or in the rain. Transport is 350 baht one way. Last free return minivan from town is 17:15. Internet is way overpriced, not included. Would stay here again because it is a beautiful property with great staff. Food in fine.

Nice area, good quiet bay area

A little dirty and uncared for. Not 5 star condition definately.

Nice hotel in general, but lacked the cleanliness for a 5star hotel. The bathroom was a bit shabby with ill fitting doors in the shower. The beach and walk ways and garden were uncared for and looked messy. Expensive food, where they add table charge and a 7% tax on everything.

Quiet location Secluded Great views of the coast

Breakfast was a bit ordinary- needs more choice

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and we would recommend Aiyapura to anyone who wants a quiet stay and just time to relax. The rooms are terrific and very close to the beach. While the beach isn't the best for swimming the complimentary kayaks are worth a go- stick to the pool to cool off! The breakfast could be improved- a bit more choice is needed for a 5 star place.

location,staff,room everything

taxi into town

we stayed in a small chalet in late june 2009.I really cannot fault this hotel, beautiful room in a beautiful setting overlooking a beautiful bay.The rainforest shower was amazing. The staff were simply excellent and food was stunning.Only complaint is being held to ransom when trying to get a taxi back to the hotel from White sands beach, and having to pay 300 Bht for a 10 min taxi ride.Overall, thsi was a superb hotel and would definately love to stay here again and again and again !!!!.wouild recommend taking a Kayak and paddle to the nearby Island - spectacular views

Welcome drinks and fruit

None

Everything about the resort was as per the web site. The staff were very friendly. The welcome drinks and fruit basket were very welcome after a 3 1/2 hour drive from Pattaya. Although I did not use the following, Mountain bikes, sea bikes and kayaks were available for free. Also a free shuttle service is available to and from White Sand beach. In all an excellent resort which I can thoroughly recommend.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you do not have your own transport, motorcycles and quads are available for hire.

The hotel was even more lovely than the pictures on the internet. We enjoyed the natural beauty of the hotel and appreciated the fact it was not over-built. The spa was amazing.

The singer at dinner was a bit flat and pretty much sang the same songs every night. Too many mosquitoes in the evening but what can you do about that?

It is always a bit nerve wracking to pick a hotel just from pictures on the internet (ie. we ended up in a basement room on a lovely Greek island once) and reading reviews. But I read so many positive reviews about Aiyapura that I decided to believe them and book 4 nights there. The Aiyapura experience exceeded our excpectations. We decided to try a spa package, which though a bit pricey, we highly recommend. Spending 4 hours getting scrubbed, wrapped and massaged was absolutely heavenly. We took the complimentary kayaks out for the day, went to the little island in the bay and snorkeled around it. There also is great shell hunting when the tide is out in the bay. We would love to return again some day if we can.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We did a day snorkeling from an outfit we found in White Sands. If you like to snorkel the coral/fish are amazing.

Staff, hotel amenities, grounds.

None

When I first got to the resort I was impressed with how nicely the grounds were kept. The welcome was great, we had a drink while we were checking in. The room was in very good condition. The hotel location is far out of town on Koh Chang, which was nice. They even had boats for us to take out on the bay.

Hotel Feature Tip : Fun to paddle and explore the bay!

Quiet beach and nice staff

Poor breakfast

Room was very spacious & new with great ocean scenery, and all staffs were very kind with high quality service. I recommend you to stay here for real rest in isolated luxury environment. Because it's brand new there are some points to improve such as limited TV channel option from the room & difficult access to the west beach downtown in Koh Chang.
