ok room considering price,clean rooms and good standard. no cleaning of room (roomservice)though. no breakfast, but 30 sec walk to resturant with great cheap breakfast. only recomend this bungalow if you like us rent a motorbike and drive around, the area is really nice and not busy, but only 2-5 minutes with bike to beach and parties and restuarant areas with great food and amazing views....

Clean bungalows on a hill

The Baansanook bungalows are very clean and quiet, and located on a hill. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did however feel that the hotel was very overpriced compared to other hotels in the area.
However I recommend that you rent a motor bike if you stay here, since it is a bit far from the Lonely beach and the area around the bungalow resort is very quiet with only a few restaurants. Lonely beach is only about five minutes by motorbike, but the road is not very pedestrian friendly so it is really better to rent a bike.
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurants close to the bungalows on both sides of the road all serve nice and affordable food

Had a some nearby restaurants, one with love bands. The huts are about five mins tuk tuk drive to lonely beach which we didn't realise as thought they were neasr kindly beach. This is too dangerous to walk on foot last night as unlit, windy and hilly so probs get run over. Got charged extra by drop off van as we'd given our address as kindly beach then told it definitely wasn't and would coast 2 dollar extra to take us the extra distance. Found it v difficult to converse with staff.
Restaurant Tip:
Use the restaurant which is to the left of the complex when facing it. They are good value.
