The breakfast at the restaurant was most pleasant as the large restaurant offers a great view of the ocean and the beach. The hotel is well located and all is very quiet a night. The pool area offers many chairs that sit right on the beach, and all of this in a very natural tree filled setting. I had a garden view bungalow and was quite pleased.
- Travel tip : Oodies bar and restaurant in White Sand Beach has great Jazz, Blues band playing every night and the food is great.

Location is good, quiet zone, and everthing is close by. Value for money is a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10.
- Travel tip : Try the two-hour elephan tride (with swimming) and the dolphin tour.

The staff were really excellent and I love the breakfast buffet that is provided as part of the cost of the room. Even though you can step right out into the street of small shops and craziness of the White Sand Beach area it did not touch the relaxed and quiet area of the resort.

On our first night, heavy winds blew a loose panel on the roof above our room, making a constant banging. On our second and third nights, our neighbors partied very loudly all night long. The manager would not do anything to stop the noise and refused to find us a different room or refund our money. Koh Chang is great, Banpu in not.
A little slice of paradise

This hotel is the most unique I've stayed in anywhere. You won't regret staying here, pay the extra money and get a bungalow, and if they aren't already gone, request one that looks onto the beach
- Travel tip : There are lots of jellyfish around, they won't hurt you other than a stinging/tingling feeling. A walk down the beach at night is great, head to the Tiger Bar and watch the fire show at a nearby restaurant
