Clean, quiet and comfortable rooms, great service, very friendly staff, fantastic pool (including jacuzzi), plenty of umbrellas and loungers and beautiful beach. The restaurant menu, particularly for breakfast needs to be improved. Most of the time, we went at the restaurant next door for good food and entertainment.
A huge army of mosquitoes in the evening, which made difficult for us to enjoy the sunset. Some easily accessible and minimal costs solutions (e.g. sprays, candle repellent) should be available. I enjoyed staying at Bhumiyama Beach Resort Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the service was good. Then we saw the room was very nice and clean. A special attention for details was proved by the nice arrangement of towels on bed – they were transformed into little elephants. Though we coudn't see the pool and beach from our room, we had a nice view of the spa and garden. I also enjoyed the beach which was nice and quiet, allowing us to listen to the ocean waves. The fishing village close by was a nice sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to visit Koh Chang.

Close to the sea, quiet atmosphere It needs a little renovation we spent 4 days at this hotel, that was the first point from our itinarery.This hotel is definitely for those who prefer quiet rest. If you rent a motor bike you will have no problem travelling around the island, so later we were even glad that it is far away from the Chang's center. The hotel has a small clean pool (1,5 m deep - Thai standart, I guess)and quite friendly staff. Regarding the room, it was clean but it had a few yellowish stains on the ceiling, the rest was OK. We didn't regret staying at this hotel - it is really value for money.
Travel tip : the roads on Ko Chang are quite steep, so it is a real adventure to be riding up and down the hill roads. You will be thrilled riding you bike to the hotel:-). Very close to the hotel there's good view point where you can rent a kayak-boat and paddle to the nearest samll island.

The amazing swimming pool.
Rooms and all other facilities are a little bit old already. In July it was very quiet. Limited choice at the breakfast buffet. The aircon didn't work. When we arrived at the hotel it looked like we're the only guest. And nothing was prepared. Anyway no problem to find the free room that we booked. (Deluxe Beachfront Bungalow 2nd floor) Unfortunately we had to wait for 20 min, because they had to prepare the room first. The room was nice decorated and bathroom outside was also nice. But everything was a bit old and definetly needs some renovation. Probably due to less customer and raining season it was also smelly in the room and in the bathroom as well.
In the night time the Aircon didn't work very well. But you can leave a window open and you get the fresh breeze from the sea.
The breakfast buffet had limited choice and all fresh food was covered by plastic film. During we had breakfast 5 other guest had been there as well.
The swimming pool is very nice. Two big basins connected with a slide and also a whirlpool area.
I think it could be a very nice place if they have more customer and they did a little bit of make up in the rooms.
The hotel has limited space in the parking area. 5 or 6 spaces.
