Make sure you speak with Mr. "Top" - a charming and very helpful young man.
- Restaurant Tip : Go to the Bhudda View restaurant at the fishing village of Ban Bao - fantatic food and wonderful view.

We stayed six nights in an Ocean View Bungalow which has an outdoor bathroom, seems nice at first but really would have appreciated air-conditioning and not so many critters at night when going for a pee. Although the surroundings, pool area and beach were lovely the overall feel you get from the hotel is that it is a bit rundown and poorly managed. We ate twice at the restaurant and after the second dinner we both got food poisoning. Much better food and value for money at the Nature Rock next door on the beach. Staff should learn a bit more English.
- Restaurant Tip : The Nature Rock next door on the beach had great food.
Great place to stay

There is a direct bus service line 999 from Bangkok to the pier where the ferry is going every half hour.
On the island is a bus service to the resorts.
For 200 baht a day you can hire a scooter for 24 hours.
- Travel tip : ATM's and shops available all over the island.

Beautiful outdoor pool, with excellent views of the beach. High-speed Internet also available.
- Hotel Feature Tip : A bit out-of-the-way, around the 'back-side' of Koh Chang, but everything on the Island is within walking distance.
