The pool was great The service was good & fast Clean rooms

The blankets were old There is no beach access from the hill side part of the resort The echo of the room was terrible

The hotel (hillside part!) is a mid level hotel. The pool is good and everything is close to the rooms. Rooms are basically fine. Recommended for this price level.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you're getting to Koh Chang by flight (Trat), the cheapest way to book your flight is threw Bangkok airways web page.

Bungalows are large and beautifully designed. An English speaking member of staff was assigned to provide information at check in and assistance if required, which was a nice touch. None was required.

Note there is no beach at Chang Buri Resort & Spa – though the front of the hotel fronts the sea, and the beach is some 200m walk away. There was a large building under construction on the roadside of the hotel – while we heard no noise this might have been down to timing of our stay over new year.

Particularly nice, large and clean bungalows/cottages made the stay here – the garden and pool area is comparatively formal and uninviting compared to other island resorts. We spent most of our time off the hotel premises – partly for that reason and partly because White Sand beach is a nice beach – and there is plenty of choice around the hotel in terms of food, shops, internet cafes, tours and diving possibilities. Staff were helpful and cheerful.

Nice and clean room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and refreshing swimming pool.

No access to the beach.

Hotel Feature Tip : If you plan to lie on the beach most of the time, this is not a hotel for you as there is no beach access. White Sand Beach is the most popular beach on Koh Chang, however, there is only one access to public beach, which is very small. If you are buget travellers, try other beaches.
