Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Very close to the beach, swiming pool was clean and nice , little small. Not expensive
Bungallow where I stayed was very old , poor decore. Many mozzies , air con was poor , tv very poor reception but that was no big deal. Food was expensive.
The resort is dated , would have been great 20 years ago. Bungalows are very poor in building standard, dated and not clean. The food was average and quite expensive. Not much shopping or entertainment near by , need a motor bike to get anyware. I was quite disapointed with the resort. The beach was a little rocky but quite nice.

Great pool & beach access. Staff friendly.
Rooms need remodeling desperately. Beds are very hard. English a problem for most of the staff.
The bungalows need to be more secure. Huge gaps under the door so large insects can come in rather easily! The bathrooms need major remodeling! Gaps in the wall so lots of peepholes! Faucets and toilet were dripping water all day and night. We specifically asked for queen beds in our reservations, and all our rooms only had single beds that fit one person. Even when we switched to the "upgrade room" the bathroom was rather dated, needs work! Housekeeping starts about 6:30am so not great for sleeping in. Construction was going on as well so very noisy about 7am!
Nightlife Tip : Karoke at the beach bar will keep you up late - not so good if you're in a bungalow trying to sleep after a long flight!

Quiet, close to all activities that I like.
I will definitely continue to recommend Chang Park Resort to anyone because it is not expensive so all can stay a bit longer here without having to worry about spending too much.

beautiful landscaping
nice pool
good rooms
breakfast included with agoda
close to many restaurants and bars with happy hours
peacocks on the lawn!
loud animals: including a rooster and geese
loud nightly karaoke that rings throughout the resort.
hotel tried to charge us for breakfast 200 baht per person for the free night we got .
no happy hour.
beach was only OK.
the chairs by the pool have completely worn out cushions on them, really an eyesore.
The place was absolutely beautiful, with awesome landscaping that lead to peacocks and geese wandering around. HOWEVER, we were woken up every night by the geese honking very early in the morning, a horrible, horrible sound.
They also had a rooster that crowed every morning from at least 4am. That coupled with not getting to sleep due to the awful karaoke that rang throughout the resort, meant the WORST sleep I've ever had!
And then we got an unpleasant surprise when we were leaving, and they tried to charge us 400 baht for breakfast on the free nights accommodation we received for our long stay. We refused to pay, - be careful!
Restaurant Tip : The Emperor of India restaurant, just across to the left on the hotel was probably the best Indian food I've ever had! Nextdoor is the Little Tree Bar, which did 2-4-1 cocktails, so only 80 baht each! Try the mojito!
If you do a 4island day trip, do not go in the rain - it took us 90mins to get back, in choppy, choppy waters.

Beach, Pool & Entertainment
Air conditioning units on Beach houses.
overall, the resort is nice but there are some things that needs improvement such as air conditioning units, it needs some proper maintenance and there are places also that needs cleaning. The entertainment is swell however, the security of the resort is very lax, there are some outsider who goes inside the resort with nobody from the resort is checking. The foods is seem okay but expensive, maybe the cost next time they could lower the price a little bit.
Restaurant Tip : you could eat in good sea food restaurant just infront of the resort.

i LIKED THE LOCATION AND BEING CLOSE TO THE BEACH AS WELL AS THE BUFFET BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING
I feel the pool could be kept cleaner and the beach needs some more sand put on it as the ocean has taken a lot away and at low tide it is hard to walk on the beach
I found the resort and the staff very friendly and helpful. The bungalows we stayed in were small but comfortable. I feel they could do with a make over as they are getting a few years old. The lawn and gardens around the resort are beautiful and well taken care of. On the road outside the hotel there are many shops and restuarnts of different types so you will not have to eat the same thing every day. Driving around the island is best on one of the scooters that you can rent as the roads are narrow and very windy with a lot of switch backs. Over all we had a good stay at the resort and would go back
Restaurant Tip : good german restuarant just down the block

This was a great hotel in terms of its beach and pool. Especially the pool was nice, we spent a lot of time there. Breakfast was buffet style and there were a couple of nice dishes every day, and also a lot of fruits. The only downside was the staff who on quite a few occasions were less than friendly. The English competency of the staff was close to zero. Otherwise we had a very good time in the hotel. The room balconies were also very comfortable, giving a great view of the sunset.

The Bungalows are only near the beach not on it.
Most of the staff speak poor English
Overpriced food and drink in the bar. They never seemed to have the buy1 get 1 free Heineken beer
The resort is on the Beach at the very end of the developed areas. Bungalows are suitable but not ON the beach as claimed. Search around for last minuite rates. They do speak poor english and messed up breakfast vouchers for both days.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Swim in the waterfall at the park near there

Breakfast was excellent and hotel staff was friendly
Bungalows were not as good as we tought an the water in the pool was cold
We stayed in Chang Park for ten nights and first five nights were very windy and the wind blew throught the bungalow so it got a bit cold in the bungalow at night. Also there was a peacock which kept making very loud noises at night time. We liked the beach infont of the hotel. At Kai Bae beach the location of hotel was good, but I wuold have rather stayed at White sands
Restaurant Tip : There's a great Japanese restaurant nearby the resort called ASHI (opposite 7eleven)

The Hotel setting wasideally situated near the beach
We stopped in the small bungalows and found it quite uncomfortable because no space at bottom of bed and nowhere to put clothes.
Reception Staff had very poor English.
At first found difficulty in finding our small bungalow. Appeared to be in an idyllic situation with a lovely gardens. Geese appearing to patrol all day making a honking sound(but not unpleasent)A fresh water swimming pool near the sea, which after showering off the salt water we found it very refreshing.

Quite Beach, Good Breakfast, Friendly staff
Mosquitoes in the room everyday, rooms are old and dirty.
Mosquitoes in the room everyday, overpriced New Year party that didn't include drinks (not even water), Construction starting at 8:00am during peak season with vacant rooms still available. We asked them to spray the room for ants, mosquitoes and I don't think it happened. Front desk staff offered no suggestions for the construction noise, just "So, sorry Sir". Location is OK, and other beaches near by are nice. Would not stay there again.
Restaurant Tip : Good Indian Food near the resort. Exit the resort, turn left, walk about 50 meters

Wide green territory, quiet, calm
No free internet, breakfast is cold and not too varied, no animation
The hotel is clean enough, but was not renovated. Breakfast was not very good - most of food was cold.
Too few amusements in the area, but I think this concerns to all hotels at Chang island. Only sea and sun. There are a few small restaurants and a lot of dressmakers. Good place for relax, but it is boring after couple of days. Hotel even does have free internet and has only a dozen of TV channels.

You can rent a scooter for 24 hours, it will cost you 200 Baht. We went to the White Sand Beach for swimming.
For dinner we went to the Lonely Beach, there is a great restaurant called Nature Rock.
Nightlife Tip : On Saturday evening there are a lot of parties happening on the beaches.
