Close to the beach.

The price was a bit high for the standard of the resort.

I had a nice stay at this resort, it was very close to the beach, and had cosy bungalows. But the resort is a bit old, and the price is a bit high. One thing I also missed was a place to wash your feet when you have been to the beach. It was not placed in the beach front, nor in front of your bungalow. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The best things I like about this resort are: the children swimming pool, excellent location, morning breakfsst, and the beach.

There is this night club down the road called Lay Lay Tong that plays Karoke until 1 or 2 a.m. It is not very loud where we were but loud enough to hear it "bum" "bum" all evening. I don't like noise! Maybe I'm more sensitive than most people.

The Coconut Beach Resort is an excellent hotel for your money and family. We stayed from January 19th to 27th 2009 (8 days). We have a 4 year son and he loved the beach and the children swimming pool. There were also a lot of other children for him to play with. The location is excellent. You can have long long walks on the beach and visit cheap local restaurants on the beach serving excellent food. I think it is much better than white sand beach. The staff was nice and professional. Overall I think it's a good hotel for a family vocation.

Friendly personal.

Open showers in villa rooms.

I have been at the Coconut Beach Resort before and I liked my stay very much again. Although the weather this time was not the best, I had a nice stay. The only thing I would never do again, is to book a Villa Room with the open showers around January, when its windy. Showering was quite an experience this time. But I got a better room after three days, so my holiday was saved.
