The four-star Dusit Princess Resort is located on the second largest island in Thailand, where a large part of the island is designated as a National Marine Park. Solid 5-star hotel

No beach at all (rocks), location - if you don't have car too far away from everything.

We stay in Dusit Princess Suite - a best room in hotel. Very big with private pool and nice beachfront. Room miss some amenties (dinner sets, wine glasses for example) but you can order it from receiption. Very strange to see microwave oven here (in Thailand!). Beach at hotel is absolutely not suited for swimming, just for tanning. If you like to swim choose another hotel. We don't try breakfast and restaurant at hotel so nothing to say. Room well maintained and clean. Staff lazy enough :-) Good 5-star hotel, but I'm think it overpriced.

- beach is accessible, but not place you swim - not in convenient location

I have stay 3 nights there. Staff is very good. Room facility is fine except hot water in the shower is one star hotel. Without car, your life will never be easy to stay here.

Restaurant Tip : RuangThai Seafood at Bangbout.. Good taste and reasonable price.

Quiet location, good quality hotel, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable price.

Attention to detail - see my review.

The hotel is generally excellent but does lack some of the finer points. On arrival, (hot day) the aircon was off and the room was full of mosquitos. Next day the lavatory blocked and the daily newspaper delivered to the room was in Thai (when I am obviously a foreigner!). Following day, the aircon stopped cooling and the key card expired. All these items were quickly fixed by the friendly and helpful staff, but shouldn't have occurred in the first place. Overall I would recommend this hotel, especially if you want a tranquil setting. The facilities were good, pool, restuarants etc, although the the beach was not brilliant.

Restaurant Tip : Excellent local restaurants!
