Lovely room and friendly staff

On arrival at the hotel we were greeted with fruit juice, checked in and were shown to our room by a very friendly and helpful member of staff.
We were in the Sea View Grande Suite which is a huge room with separate bedroom, dressing room, bathroom and an additional shower room. The balcony was huge with 2 sun loungers and a jacuzzi and an excellent view of the pool and the beach.
The breakfast was a buffet which had lots of choice.

we took superior sea view and change it to grand deluxe by next day which is 1.5 expensive but 100 times better big room nice big balcony sea view was brilliant ))

Nice hotel territory & beach is good one.

I liked staying in this hotel. The advantage of the superior room is that beach in front of it, but room is small, some insects are inside. As for the deluxe room in the main building, it's nice. I liked balcony & especially view from the balcony, sunsets were beautiful.

Sabay Bar, 15 Palms - good restaurant & also Japanese restaurant, Sawadee Massage

Nice hotel, nice service,beach location

Hotel was a hotel over looking the beach nice location.Hotel needs a little TLC as it looks a little tierd.Staff very nice.
Restaurant Tip:
Lots of good places to eat at around the hotel.

We were upgraded because our room wasn't available upon arrival. Beautiful rooms and property, 2 bottled waters free a day and drink coupon given when you arrive. Hotel food a little pricey but good - you can also find cheaper food along the beach or in town if you prefer. Hotel property right along the beach and the staff was very friendly and helpful. For example helped us to figure out how we could travel to the tart airport.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Elephant trekking is a must. We also got to swim with them!

great location steps away from the beach

we visited Koh Chang for a long weekend , and arrived to the hotel late in the evening just to be wellcomed with a big smile and a represing drink.
the gargen view rooms are comfetable and quit.
the bearkfest is OK and gets a bit boring after few days.
the beach is magnifisent and actually steps away.
we will defenatly come back !!
graet value for the money.

the resort is nice, staff are friendly. the villa we stayed is a bit old and had a creepy sound of geckos at night.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Stay at the hotel room in one of the buildings is a better choice than those villas which are old and far from the resort facilities and main pool.

very nice hotel, we had a garden villa. everything was good apart from the food (thai food) it was very plain and small portions. the breckfast was very good tho.
i would stay there again if and when i go to koh chang. the pool area and beach was excellent and a great postion on white sand beach.
4 out of 5 strs for us.

We arrived late on Ko Chang and walked into the KC Grande Resort. Asking for our room was 3 times as much as we eventually paid over the internet (extension of our stay 2 days later). We still managed to negotiate down by over 50% for the first 2 nights.
Rooms (main building) are huge. Try to get a room with real sea view (not ground floor).
Hotel pool is fantastic, beach is great as well.
Breakfast wasn't really fantastic for the overall price you pay (even over the internet it sums up to over USD100 a night).

Great resort hotel on a fantastic beach
Location, jacuzzi on the balcony

Our second visit to KC Grande this year. First was at new Year. This trip was better as the occupancy was lower and there was no compulsory "gala" dinner. Love the beach, the private jacuzzi, and the service around the pool is good.
Nightlife Tip:
Good rock bar close to the hotel. Oodies Place. Live music nightly.
