Best All-Rounder on Koh Chang

There may be more remote hotels that are better at some things, but KC did all of them well. It is close to the amenities of White Sand beach and yet being on the far North end, quiet enough to get away from the noise if so desired. The pool and common area were great despite construction work on the one end of the pool. There is one oversight with their beach bungalows. The open plan bathroom showers do not have shower curtains, meaning that alot of water splashes towards the toilet and basin. This would be fine if the floor sloped back towards the drain, but it does not, so water pools under the toilet and basin and never drains away. We tried three of them, so they are aware of this and upgraded us to a better bungalow. They trie to charge european rates for laundry and piere transfer. Just use the local taxis instead and take your laundry 15m across the road for 40Baht per Kg instead of 50Baht per shirt. Staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, great place though.
Restaurant Tip:
Walk 60m south on the beach from the resort and grab a sundowner at 15Palms beach bar. Bean bags on the sand 5m from the waters edge. Epic sunsets!

it was reasonable price to stay here, the staff were friendly, they helped to bring the stuffs while it's the raining cause we stayed at the beach front bangalow when you want to reach the hotel, you need to pass the garden.

We enjoyed our stay here. Initially we had a Villa room thinking this was the best option however as it turned out the Building was much newer and the facilities were much nicer. The Villa facilities are very dated now and for the same price I would stick with the building rooms. A bit dissapointed we didn't get an upgrade for our Honeymoon as we were there in low season.

I booked a Sea View Superior Villa and was not very happy with this room, too small, no cover landing or chairs. small bathroom. The king bed was actually to twin beds pushed together. The sea view was actually between two other villas in front of my villa. Overall this room was very uncomfortable. The next day I was able to upgrade to the Beach Front Deluxe Villa and I was very pleased with this room. Very comfortable with covered landing and lounge chairs, real king bed, western style bathroom, and much more room. The view of the beach from the landing was spectacular and about a 10 second walk to the beach. I was very pleased with this room for the remainder of my stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Arrive early to the breakfast buffet.

I loved this hotel and extended my stay 3 separate times. The staff are excellent, they are helpful and above all, honest.
I would stay at this hotel again and again, and plan on returning in December/January

Check out the fresh seafood offered right at the hotel, and don't forget to partake in the free breakfast buffet offered every morning from 6 am to 10 am
