fairly good price and restaurant on the beachfront
Virtually all of the sensible priced rooms are either dark and buried or a good walk from the beach.. you cannot order food at the pool ( unless you get lucky and find a rare helpfull waitress) and have to walk to the restaurant and then go back gain yourself when they bring your food without condiments or other essentials.
The hotel itself is ...ok ..but the generally non thai , or whatever they are staff generally let the place down . The breakfast is unheated from 15 minutes before closing and generally not topped up well and is not all that special anyway ... we ate elswhere generally.
The island .. at the time of our visit was just an open sewer with all the sewage drains and many outlet pipes just running onto the beach ...they are now trashing this beautifull place as well.. I would never let my children play in the water or on the beach which is fouled by the many stray dogs that now seem to be becoming thailands trademark !
I have always loved this island but i am now looking elsewhere.. There have also been some fairly serious violent robberies on the main road walkways by motorcycle thieves, which have been hushed up. everybody i spoke to on our boat was glad to be leaving .
Restaurant Tip : eat at the basic looking thai restaurants on the roadsides as their food , prices ..and hygiene are fine and they APPRECIATE the business ! !

hotel is located on white sand beach, great location , great swimming pool, good breakfast. Room is good. Service is good.
We had a great vacation at Koh Chang Kacha. It is located near everything we wanted such as nice beach, great restaurant around ect.Our room was good worth for money and we enjoyed breakfast.

the hotel is the perfect one for this island. not 2 big, with expiriance.
nice rooms- we took the pool villa. great pool and bar.
the restaurant is not very good as she needs to be because they aren't many restaurants in the islands.
