Well, had my room been with a better view since I did ask for a sea view, I would have considered the resort 8 out of 10 because you do have to expect a bit of problems with the amenities. Bbut nothing was done to make up for our long wait that it took for the technician to try to solve our problem. All in all, the hotel should have paid more attention to the problem we faced. I am not sure to recommend this place or not because maybe I was just one of the unlucky ones, but if you're one of the lucky ones with the nice villa, then your stay here should be fine.
- Restaurant Tip : There's a seafood joint on the right side of the hotel on the opposite side of the road, you can't miss the BBQ pit, try to avoid it because it was not exactly nice. The restaurant next to it with local Thai food, but no seafood stuff, I think it was really nice as I had my meals there with a Thai and the comment was that it was good.
Good standard and centrally located.

The hotel offers value for money in a central location.
- Travel tip : There are mosquitoes everywhere on Koh Chang. Be sure to buy some spray against mosquitoes (buy spray that contains Deet).

If it wasn't because of the poor service I would go back in a second, but they really have to step up and get more alert to keep people to come back.

The hotel is situated in the southern end of White Sands beach. There is no beach area connected to the hotel in the mornings due to high tide and its a lot of pebbles in the sand.
If you would like to stay at the beach you have to walk on the beach to find your spot.
Most people seemed to stay by the pool area until noon when the beach was at least walkable.
- Restaurant Tip : If you want cheap good food eat by the main street and then take a walk by the sea and sit down for a drink.
Could be good experience for your family

Overall, good value for money. Caters to older tourists.
- Travel tip : Renting a motorbike for around 250 baht/day is an excellent way to explore this island.

If you ever stay at the hotel you'd save a lot by not visiting their spa/massage lounge. It's way too overpriced. Look for masseurs on a bungalow balcony to the left of the hotel beachfront, between Kacha and Banpu, right where the Kacha swimming pool area finishes and the rocky beach starts. Very nice and 3 times cheaper.
