Pre-paid breakfast only at restaurant area, no room service possible Koh Chang Paradise Hotel is a nice and decent area in a good location. It is quiet. Good for families.
No noisy water sports around, few people are harassing you to buy things at the beach.
The breakfast is rather poor, the coffee is absolute terrible.
Very friendly staff.
It is a good place to lay back and relax and recharge your batteries.
Dont arrive after 7pm at the mainland because the ferry traffic closes daily at 7pm and there is no official way to transfer over to the island.
Nightlife Tip : Get a motor bike (200 Baht/day) and drive 5 KM to the left leaving the Hotel. There are a couple of bars on the right side which give you some night life (until mid-night only).

*quiet, confortable, and pleasant beach *friendly but not the best hospitality
The staff is friendly, especially in F&B.
The rooms are conveneniant and are all close to the beach, the mini bar is well stocked and the rooms are cleaned daily.Breakfast served near the beach is nice and the staff is always helpful.

bungalows are close to the beach front; breakfast (included) is great; amazing BBQ on the beach available; clean beach; the on-site spa is the best I've ever had! the set up of the bungalows is confusing to navigate through. nice, but pricey. It was a great place to stay with all the needed accommodations for a nice vacation. The on-site spa is amazing and not too pricey. It shares a beach front with other resorts, but the beach is nicely kept with lots of places to eat or drink. The Breakfast bar (included) was wonderful. Other than the odd set up of all the bungalows, it was a great place to stay. If you want a more private or secluded place, look for another beach.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : we did a half day of snorkeling (5 hours) for only 700 baht (total) at surrounding islands which we set up through the hotel. If you don't want to go in an overcrowded speedboat with lots of people (32 in ours, which they said the cap was at 15), get to the dock yourself and hire a local boat/driver for not much more money.
