-A few mornings the omelet line was ridiculously long & then my omelet was undercooked because the chefs were in a hurry.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a motorbike and go see the great waterfalls around the island.
Go to "Chao," and Italian restaurant 10 min from the resort (turn right out of the hotel) & try their great ravioli!

Paradise in Koh Chang

A great resort, all rooms are bungalows. Bathroom is nice and very clean. Pool is also very nice. Staff were also friendly and you were able to swim in the beach.

When writing about my time in Paradise Resort, I can't help but to mention that the staff was friendly. I was supposed to tip them after my stay. They were helpful and friendly at all times and carried our luggage to the bungalow and showed us the room. Note that after this I stayed in Millennium Hilton in BKK which did not offer the service in question.
The biggest pro in my opinion however was the breakfast. It's been a while since I've had such a good breakfast in a hotel. I can't complain about anything. Both the western and the Asian influenced foods were good, the coffee was great (which is rare in Asia to my experience) the omelettes were delicious and it was comfortable to eat yourself full in the morning as usually you had a day's worth of something to do while on the island.
The bungalow was nothing too fancy, but just what you need. The resort itself was set on a beach, which is always a bonus and the pool next to the beach was good as well.
For the only cons, there weren't too many places to eat nearby. You always had to take a taxi in order to go and have dinner as I usually don't want to eat in the same place twice while traveling.
Note that the hotel has a large population of German, Ukranian and Russian tourists and it seems like the resort was more or less built for your average 45-70 year old white couples who come and spend their retirement funds in Thailand. Not for backpackers, but if you need some time in a lazy and cozy environment, its for you.

quiet peaceful place

hotel has a good location,nice comfortable bungalows and sandy beach.. it was quiet,peaceful and romantic place, we spent there our honeymoon,it's a good choice for reason like this.. we stayed in deluxe garden bungalow for 5 days and almost all days were rainy but its not a problem, also beautiful,we just loved it!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
rent a motorbike and look around all over the island...

Recommended for anyone looking for a quiet getaway

I love the beach front villa that I stayed in. Beach is only a few steps in front of the villa. Great view and quiet, perfect for a getaway! Location was great since it's accessible to everything - restaurants, bars, convenient stores and etc. But definitely recommended for people looking for a nice vacation by the beach. The room was awesome, value for its price! :)

I have no bad words for this hotel. We had three very nice nights in the poolvilla, whit lots of swimming in the big pool. The beach was clean and good for children. Good food on the restaurang to good price. I will come back.

This a good resort overall especially the location being on the nice side of the island. The beach is nice and clean and can only be accessed by hotel guests. The beach front rooms are right on the beach which is a very convenient feature to enjoy swimming, relaxation, and just let the waves sound hypnotize you to sleep.
The most annoying experience had to be the hot water setup. It is tied to the air conditioner being running at very cold temperature range. Get this, the thermstat has to be between 19 and 22 degree to get hot water. I wonder who the genious was coming up with this design!

Relaxation on the beach

We like this hotel. The bungalows are new and convenient and staying directly on the beach. You can wake up in the morning and in three steps appear on the beach. I think that this beach one of the best on Co Chang Ireland. Despite the rain from time to time our stay at this hotel was enjoyable.

Big room with big bed. Staff are very polite and the welcome drink makes you feel happy to arrive at the resort.
Bungalow are not far from the beach. Swing on the beach is great. Nice place to relax and have fun with your familly.
