Olympic swimming pool, a great view over the mountain, a friendly and helpful owner
sometimes it was difficult to communicate with the staff as their English wasn't alway up to scratch
We had a really nice time at Resortel. The hotel is about 30 minute walk from White Beach and a 5 minute drive from Lonely Beach. It is at the seaside however it has access only to the pebble beach, which wasn’t a problem for us as we made a use of the swimming pool which is really big. As we visited the hotel at a really busy period I was worried that the swimming pool would be overcrowded however it wasn’t the case at all. The hotel provides Thai massage in the evenings which was a nice end of a day for us. The owner was really helpful he provided us with a map of Ko Chang on the day of arrival and also arranged for snorkelling.
For those of you who prefer swimming in the sea rather than a swimming pool, be aware that both White Beach and Lonely Beach are really shallow in the evening so the best time to swim is in the morning or early afternoon.

The swimming pool is not that clean becoz of the flying insects. Room is simple and the restuarant has a lot of ants ....
The hotel is not easy to find and the road going to into the hotel is not easy for big lagagues travelers but you can ask your travel mate to watch the lagagues and go to reception to ask for help. The beach is rocky, and really nothing especial or outstanding thing i can say about this hotel.
