Great positiopn - what a disappointment

What potential fo a great resort what a disappointment.Where do I start. Rooms are so small we cut out toes on the end of bed and small step into bathroom. Staff are not particularly friendly. Breakfast is nothing short of rubbish, cold slop. You can make your own toast so that was good. Boiled eggs were raw. Hard to get a towel and they were stained and old. Share pool with resort next door. Filthy black oil sludge floating on top. WiFi only works near office - buy a booster. Linen patched and bed made up with sheet onto & blanet next to skin, we changed it around. Gardens are beautifully maintained. Such a shame as this has so much potential if someone organised the staff. Definiotely not 4 star 1/2 at best.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
5 island trip with fishing included was great value we caught and ate our own fish BBQ on board boat.
Max tourist agency in Kai Bae Beach see Muay she's so helpful and speaks good english and she likes vanilla ice cream!

We stayed 3 nights here in early January and the hotel was very comfortable, with friendly staff. The inclusive breakfast wasn't great as it was of the contintental variety, but often with cold eggs and bacon (if you time it right, they are hot when they are served out onto the buffet table). The beach is about 1 minute walk away, as the hotel lines the sea front but on top of rocks. The room was clean, the aircon worked well but the WiFi didn't quite work as it was only really available in the resturant and reception area.
