Room was first class,could swim in the bath! The water-fall was a nice touch.
Great pool and Jacuzzi,great setting. The sunsets were spectacular.
Service was very friendly and efficient.
The road to the hotel was pretty tough on the suspension.
Some of the food was pretty average.
Spent 3 days here. The place was having a new swimming pool constructed. All sorts of compensation vouchers were given for the perceived inconvenience,including free Thai massage,and evening drinks.
We enjoyed our stay and the luxury. need the mosquito nets at night.
If I return to Koh Chang I'd certainly consider another stay at The Panviman.
Travel tip : Plenty of good restaurants to use in the evening

Great bathrooms, great view, nice beach, nice bungalows, good restaurant, friendly staff.
Very bad and dangerous road from main road to the resort, especially when rainy and you drive a motorbike. Bad satellite reception. No DVD player (disadvantage in rainy season). Staff is friendly but slow, check-out took 35 minutes.
Great little bungalows, and a fantastic bathroom. The bath is very big and light and when your bath is too hot you can put on your own waterfall. Amazing. Very nice restaurant, great view and good beach. There are nice waves in the sea although the staff gets very worried when you swim, there have been some accidents. It is quite far to the action on the main road so you need your own transport if you want to do more than eat, lay in the bath and lay on the beach. The road to the main road is very muddy and has deep holes, when it rains this is dangerous. Still: a great place, expensive though.
