we've spent 3 nights at The Chill for our mini-moon, stayed at the Splash Room where you can jump right into the water (but not directly to the pool and it's only 0.6M depth...)friendly staff with great service(let us use the only adapter for charging), breakfast included in the room was great, changed a dish or 2 every day to avoid dullness. Yet the price is much higher than other hotels in that area, maybe it's the design (black & white) or the poor materials used, the ceiling shows water leaking and the white couch was very dirty, the hotel will be much value for money if they make an effort to maintain the standard of it even it's still young at age. Good point is The Chill is close to many 'happenings' places in walking distance, many great seafood restaurants and 2 7-11 (convenience shops) nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Bobby's Food!Best Rotee in town and best motorbikes (THB150/day).
Ice cream shop right opposite to The Chill is good too (great gelato and great coffee Lavazza?!)

On the beach, beautiful setting.
Mold, the pool outside The Splash Room is only 2 feet deep.
The Chill is a very beautiful hotel. Our room was nice but there was mold growing on our wall. They upgraded us for free to a Splash room but the pool outside out patio was only 2 feet deep. Great if you have children traveling with you. The breakfast was sufficient.

Trendy design.Best location as Kai Bae beach is not too crowded and not far from tourist ponits such as water fall,elepahnt tour, fisherman villege .The beach is beautiful and nice veiw with small island..It is with the class ,nice and cosy place. There are lots shop and resturantant just opposite the hotel.We love the splash room ,good for family.Staff are very nice.
Food quality is not too the standard yet but it is aceeptable.
After 4 days checking around the island,we found we choose the perfect choice for our family trip.We will go back to The Chill again.The location is the best ,in the center, not far from shops resturant and tourist place.The hotel is nice and clean with trendy design especeilly the splash room which kids can jump to the pool.The beach is very clean with the nice view.Service is exellent staff are very nice.Toiletries is Aigner brand.There are quite good italian resturant opposite the hotel near the mini golf.
Restaurant Tip : On Kai Bae beach,there is one small italian resturant near the mini golf about 200 meter from The Chill.The food is good.
Nice pork noodle shop for Thai just opposite Gaja Buri Resort 50 meter from The Chill.
