Beautiful design, good service, friendly and attentive personnel, nice features like the 2 pools with different styles, traditional Thai houses
rooms could show more local flavour instead of standard international room design, no bidet or hygienic shower at the toilet installed (common feature in even basic hotels in Thailand)
breakfast is standard international fare,
- Restaurant Tip : Staff directed me to a nearby Thai restaurant called Ruen Mallika, food was excellent at a fair price, close by seafood restaurant offers the supermarket atmosphere, dining excellent but for Thailand too pricey
So nice!!

Distinctively different.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just relax on the white sandy beach with crystal clear warm water. Go for a trek in the untouched tropical jungle, go diving or snorkeling, and enjoy the Dewa BBQ on the beach.
What a place!

We found the location of the Dewa to be the best part of the island - close to everything but far enough away from the crowds to enjoy some quiet time. We would certainly return to the Dewa if we chose to visit Koh Chang again.
Loved the Dewa

We loved the Dewa! Lovely room and bathroom. And we really liked the modern look and design, but I am sure it will not be to everybody's taste. Great big pool and lovely beach terrace as well. Breakfast was okay, never saw anybody eat at the restaurant. Would have liked a wider menu at the beach restaurant, both for lunch and dinner. We usually had lunch at the small beach restaurant next door, good food and great value for money. The bed was so hard, like sleeping on a rock. Good thing they had affordable massage at the beach, or maybe that was the strategy for choosing the mattress all along. We were told the hotel was fully booked, and if that was indeed the case then the feel was surprisingly uncrowded, never any race to get a sun lounger in the mornings - plenty for every one. Not a lot of families with children, not really the target group I suppose, and we loved that as well - peace and quite you know. Would definitely stay at the Dewa again.
- Restaurant Tip : The small beach restaurant next door might look dodgy, but had good food and great value for money. We usually had lunch there. Have a beer there and watch the sun set and check out their fore show in the evenings.
Great architecture, nice smiles

Beach not very nicely located. Plenty of restaurants, shops around in walking distance of hotel. Beautiful pool and nice/friendly staff
